  1. Hey, those of you playing Sisters of Elune server.

I'm thinking of coming to join you guys, but I noticed it's an RP server. How seriously do you have to take the RP on those servers?

Not serious at all. At least that's how it is on Earthen Ring. A very small fraction of people actually RP, the rest act like any other server. In my experience, there are slightly fewer idiots on an RP server than a normal server...but only slightly.

  2. Yeah, both Gun and Red Dead Revolver were lots of fun (Red Dead wasn't quite as good a game but it was fun nonetheless). I'd eagerly pick up a sequel to either of 'em. I tried Call of Juarez for a couple hours. It never really grabbed me like the other two did.

  3. I still think it was a great ending, but that's because I think that the entire story arc of Preacher was not about Jesse taking down God, it was about Jesse and Tulip finding each other again. Riding off into the sunset together is the only way it should have ever ended. The only part about the ending that I didn't like was the whole "and of course he comes back to life" bit.

  4. I'm not sure about online play, that would be cool to have an online nieghborhood, where your sims can interact with other players sims. Perhaps with the delay they will be able to get something going on it.

No. No it would not. Did you ever play The Sims Online? I got into it when I was bedridden for a couple months. In the beta, it was great. Good people. Lots of creativity. As soon as the game went public, it became nothing but mafias and virtual whorehouses. I don't think EA will ever try that little experiment again.

  5. Have you read the first two volumes of The Ultimates? Ant Man could make for a very interesting movie, no matter if he's a second or third tier character. And he's certainly not the bottom of the well - this is the company that brought us a trilogy of Blade films, for godsakes.

  6. Presumably, the 9 Marvel movies comicbookmovie.com is reporting do NOT include Iron Man 1 and Incredible Hulk (already made movies), right?

Right. It includes Iron Man 2, Captain America, Thor, The Avengers, a Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D. movie, and probably two sequels apiece for Nick Fury/S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Avengers.

As for Wright and the Ant Man movie - are you serious, baytor? Edgar Wright is probably the only one alive who could make a really good Ant Man movie. And yeah, last I read, he's still attached.

  7. Star Whores Episode I: The Phantom Penis

Star Whores Episode II: Attack of the Bones

Star Whores Episode III: Revenge of the Clit

Star Whores Episode IV: A New Grope

Star Whores Episode V: The Empire Fucks Black

Star Whores Episode VI: Return of the Creampie

  8. So, Sig, you like boobs or something?

Ive seen this chick elsewhere and she is lovely. I demand to know where i might have seen her before.

She's a French pop star. Name's Alizee. And yeah they modeled the night elf dance in WoW after her.

  9. That would add an interesting dynamic to the Avengers film. All the more reason to save it for the third movie. Have it start becoming a problem in the second film, have it cause a major problem in the Avengers film, and then show Tony cleaning himself up in Iron Man 3.

  10. IMHO the main villain in IM2 should be alcoholism. I could care less if there's another guy in armor he beats up. Just let him wail on more Mandarin fronted terrorists for action scenes. As long as they build upon Stark's guilt & self loathing from the first film, there could be some great character moments in IM2. Also, a drunken IM flying into the Chrysler Building or the Statue of liberty or something would be pretty awesome.

Iron Man's strongest story in movie two? Nah, I say build up to it and save it for the third one. Show in the second one that it's starting to become a problem but don't deal with it until the third.

Besides, if they tackled it in the second film we'd end up with a final fight that had a newly clean and sober Iron Man squaring off against the Crimson Dynamo who, let's face it, probably has a suit that runs on vodka. Don't you see? He's not just battling a Russian arms dealer/suited up supervillain, he's also fighting his own inner demons of addiction! That would be a little too "this week on a very special Iron Man" for me.
