  1. I don't care if link whips out the biggest sword ever seen in a video game, he's still a wuss. Especially after that whole windwaker crap. That was the day I stopped pre ordering zelda games. And yes peach could hand link's ass to him. And what about fighting with a bug catching net? Yeah, link really has me shaking in my boots. please
  2. Naw, link couldn't hold a candle to spawn. As a matter of fact if princess peach were in super smash bros, she would make link cry like a sissy girl. :crying:
  3. Personally I think the xbox is getting the best version of SC2. That coming from a GC owner. I personally like spawn alot better than link (FRUIT CAKE!!!). as far as playability, Namco is coming out with a universal arcade stick so no complaining.
  4. The second game 3do is coming out with this year is Four Hoursemen Of The Apocalypse. See above for more info. Here are some pics.
  5. It seems that 3do is going to make a big splash in the gaming pool this year with not one, but two games that are sure to catch your attention when they are released. The first is Street Racing Syndicate, a game based on illegal street racing it features fully customizable import cars with real life aftermarket parts and brand names. Everything in the game is customizable down to the body kits and paint jobs. For more info, check out these pics and the SRS website
  6. Here's some pics of MGS: The Twin Snakes. It's supposed to be MGS1 but with revamped graphics and a bunch of extra stuff that hasn't been revealed yet.
  7. Here's some pics of MGS3: Snake Eater. Is it just me or do these pics remind anyone of predator, especially the last one.
  8. Hey, has anyone heard about metal gear solid: twin snakes for the cube and metal gear solid 3 for the ps2. I heard that they are both going to be shown at the e3. I'll try to post some pics if I can find any.
  9. I don't care what gamespot thinks, the game kicks @$$. I love it, especially the fight with wendigo. You can even play with the yellow and blue costume. Too bad hulk couldn't make an appearance, but then he's busy working on his own game. Gotta love the stealth strikes though. Nothing's more fun than sneaking up on someone and beating them senseless before they can even realize what's going on. I personally like the one where he is crouched behind the enemy and stabs him in the ankle to trip him up and then pounces him to turn him into a human pin cushion. The game deserves a solid 8 out of 10 as far as 3rd person games go. The orange/tan costume rules.
  10. Here's some major news I thought you all might like to know. I bought Wolverine's Revenge today at Best Buy and it turns out that they are running a special promotion for the the game. Here's the promo: Buy Wolverine's Revenge and get a $10 gift card from Best Buy and a free pass to see X2. The promotion ends on 4/19.
  11. Hello all. I'm back and I've got some info on a hot new game coming out in the near future. What is this game you ask? Why none other than Enter The Matrix. You get to take control of one of two characters in the game, Niobe (Jada Pinkett) and Ghost (Anthony Wong). Sorry but Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity will not be playable characters in the game. They will still appear in the game as they play pivotal roles in the story line. The story in the game will tie in with the one in The Matrix Reloaded. The game will feature voice-acting by the stars in the movie. Enter The Matrix will also feature three different styles of gameplay. The first is 3rd person action. The camera, controlled by the game, is positioned directly behind you for the most part. When fighting the camera starts to move around the action, giving you that Matrix feel. Fighting will be martial arts stlye complete with combos, yet simplified for ease of use. This includes auto targeting. The fighting will be fluidly animated and quick, just like in the movie. There will also be disarms and bullet time for all you Dead to Rights fans. The bullet time, or "focus" will function on a meter of some sort that will replenish itself over time. You have the option of using it bit by bit or all at once. The second style fo gameplay is the driving sequences. You'll be driving around town while being chased by enemy vehicles. The passenger will pop their head out of the window to shoot at your pursuers. The third style of gameplay is flight combat. You actually get to pilot one of the ships from the movie thgough a bunch of tunnels while avoiding sentinels. This will be no easy task, considering how tight the tunnels are and how fast the sentinels move. The tunnels will also be riddled with debris, causing you to constantly dodge at high speeds. Enter The Matrix is expected to be released in May. Until then, check out their website by clicking the link above.
  12. For me, I guess it all depends on how I was first exposed to the anime. There are certain shows and movies that I first saw dubbed and it drives me crazy to watch them subbed (Escaflowne). The same happens to me when I'm exposed to the dubbed version first. Has anyone seen Inu Yasha on cartoon network. There's a series that was dubbed well. I couldn't dream of watching it subbed. Others like Ninja Scroll I could watch either way and still be happy.
  13. Here are some juicy little tidbits about some games in development. Nintendo is currently working on Pikmin 2. It will feature two-player split-screen and a new character aside from Captain Olimar. Nintendo is also worknig on Kirby's Air Ride, which will be a racing game. Capcom is said to be developing a Legend of Zelda title for the Gameboy Advance. No details are available at this time. Majesco is working on the sequel to last year's vampire-chick game tentatively entitled Bloodrayne 2. Rumor has it that they want to make the game more sexual this time around (is that possible). Konami is working on a Castlevania game for the PS2. It is rumored to be a 2d title. Nintendo is currently focusing alot of its attention (and money) on Metroid prime 2. No details are available yet. For all you sims fans out there, Electronic Arts is currently working in The Sims: Superstar. Scheduled for release in May, the game allows you to become a singer, model, or movie star. According to loose talk, the Metal Gear franchise will be making its way to the Gamecube. It hasn't been mentioned whether the game will be a port of one of the PS2 games or an entirely new adventure. Konami is also working on a game called Boktai for the GBA. The game is about a little boy who hunts vampires (brave boy), and will feature some sort of sensor that will attach to your GBA. No release date has been specified. Finally, Electronic Arts is working with Fox Interactive to bring you Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction. The game is scheduled to be released this summer and will be a tactical-strategy. That's all for now but there will be more to come.
  14. Instead of creating a bunch of different topics for info on different games, I've wised up and decided to create this topic to pass on all of my gaming knowledge to the rest of you. I'll start off by telling you about some games scheduled to be released later this year. If you don't already know about them, I'll fill you in. The first is a game I've been looking forward to for the past year or so called The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. It's a 3rd person action game that is drawing alot of comparisons to Devil May Cry. Actually, this game makes Devil May cry seem a little cartoonish with its photo-realistic look and massive ammount of blood and gore. You can tell that 3do worked hard for their "M" rating. Speaking of hard work, 3do stated that this is the biggest project they've made to date, spending about $8 million on the development of this game. For all you art fans, Simon Bisley was hired as the lead artist for the project. The animation in the game is said to be incredible, with the main hero's hair and trenchcoat flowing independently in the wind. The demons themselves are being described as being extravagantly detailed with their appearances and animations. The game's story revolves around Abaddon, a goth looking angel who fell from god's grace (I wonder what he did) who is trying to prevent the end of the world. Along the way, he gets help from a prostitute, a serial killer, and a corrupt politician (go figure). Abaddon's arsenal includes twin pistols and a katana blade. He will be able to bust out with a bunch of different combos, using both sword and guns. You will even be able to perform finishing moves. The game is scheduled to come out October 31st. Until then, you can visit the game's website by clicking on the link above.
  15. It's a 3 on 3 full court street game with street rules. It doesn't have the violent "knock 'em out and take the ball" steals that nba jam had. Instead, they opted for more finess rather than brute strength. If you've got quick hands, then you can swipe the ball clean out of your opponents hands or knock it out of your opponent's and make a mad dive for the loose ball. The picks, however, can be a little violent. Offensively, it's all about faking out your opponents and racking up trick points before you go in for the monster dunk. You can also go for a double or even triple dunk for some serious points. You can alley oop to a team mate, to yourself or have a team mate alley oop to you. A funny new addition is being able to alley oop to your team mate off the defender's head. This game is all about being flash and smooth while making your opponents look foolish. Here's a link to the NBA STREET 2 website for more info.
