  1. Yeah, I've got every Battle Chasers that he done. That story was going somewhere, although some of the action sequences were kinda jerky, his UX-M fucking ruled! Especially the Age Of Apocalypse stuff.
  2. Even though I've never really read The Ultimates, I'm really looking forward to Joe Mad's take on this. I'm a Mad fan from way back, so I'm dying to see what his new stuff looks like, I'll definitely be picking this up when it comes out.
  3. I went for Rushmore. It's probably my favourite film of all time and it also contains some prime Bill Murray moments, listening to the Wes Anderson commentary on the DVD gives a lot of insight into Murray's performance, like the scene in the hospital elevator being almost totally improvised by him.
  4. Reading the lyrics doesn't do this song justice, download it, it's worth it, promise. The Reindeer Section - Your Sweet Voice Your Sweet Voice Lets me know there is a choice. Please me slow, much more slowly than that. And when we danced we danced warm cheek to cold cheek, a sideways glance, I knew you were looking at him. I can't call you a friend 'cause when you left me here you left me here to die, don't worry I won't call you again 'cause when I take a hint I take it pretty hard and when you broke my heart you broke it into shards of glass. Telephone yells out at me to wake, I wont be blamed for someone elses mistakes. Its your sweet voice sounding cheery and warm it breaks my heart but I summon up all my charm, can i call you my friend? 'cause its been so long since we talked and I miss you, dont worry I'm over you right now, so my feelings wont get in the way of it. Oh i miss the way we talked about the little things.
  5. I looovvveeee anything Walter Schriefels does, I'm such a whore. Walking Concert are the band he formed after Rival Schools fell apart. Not as ROCK!centric as Rival Schools, but still good shit nonetheless, they're on MySpace, check them out.

  7. Not sure, that profile is 'undergoing maintenance' at the moment. Here's me: http://www.myspace.com/undercovers_on
  8. Hey I'm kinda new to MySpace, I'd like to be part of the group. I'm a lapsed Hondonian. I think IC can vouch for me, if he even remembers me.
  9. This one's been in my head for ages. Not a lot of people seem to know Biffy Clyro, they're a Scottish band. This song, 57, is from their first proper album, Blackened Sky. 57 The sun shone in, the glint in your eye, your beautiful face, your beautiful face. I held her tight, close to my heart. I didn't know it would break. I didn't know it would break. I don't believe there's love anymore, it's all in sight. We always said it's forever in this beautiful life. And I’ll try not to feel this music's for you and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey) and I’ll try not to feel this music's for you and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey) I held her tight, close to my heart. I didn't know it would break. I didn't know it would break. I don't believe there's love anymore, it's all inside. We always said it's forever in this beautiful life. And I’ll try not to feel this music's for you and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey) and I’ll try not to feel this music's for you and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), and over, (hey), It's alright, It's alright, It's alright, It's alright.
  10. Have to say I haven't liked a Weezer record since Pinkerton. They all have a few good songs on them, but in my opinion they're not great albums.
  11. Hey thats Lori from legendary Australian soap 'Neighbours', she was really hot but then she got pregnant and left. Worst day of my life ???
  12. Ok, I dont know where your having the trouble so I'll start at the top. First you need to download and install a BitTorrent program, I use this one: http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/download.html . After you install it go to http://www.suprnova.org, find the file you want then right click it and 'Save Target As...' store it somwhere like My Documents/My Torrent Files or something. Now double click the file you just saved on your computer, a window should pop up telling you that it 'connecting to peers' after a minute or so it should start downloading. After the file is downloaded get the CDisplay program and load it up. When it loads up with the grey backgorund, right click on it and and go to Load Files, then find and open the file you just downloaded, it should end in .CBZ or .CBR or sometimes just .ZIP or .RAR. P.S. I downloaded the entire run of Transmet last week, that is one classy book
  13. Yeah, there a link to the BitTorrent program at the very bottom of the Suprnova main page.
  14. Hey 2Track if you want to finish reading Hitman you can head on over to http://www.suprnova.org and go to the Comics section. There you can download the entire run of Hitman including the annuals and his first appearance. Be warned though the files are HUGE, you cant really download it unless you have a broadband connection. I'd recommend downloading this program to view the files: http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay This is all highly ilegal by the way
  15. I recommend Damien Rice. His album came out here last year in Ireland and I have been listening to it ever since. He's now starting to get recognised in the US, he was on Letterman recently, he's on Conan tonight. Go here to download Mp3s: http://www.freecfm.com/d/damien/mp3.html I recommend the tracks Eskimo (if only for Lisa Hannigans vocals), Volcano, The Professor, then any other one because they're all great. Oh and I forgot about Amie, Lisa Hannigan features prominently on that one aswell.
  16. Thanks for that IC, I'm SO looking forward to this. I like the Punisher and all but I cant wait to read something from them with some heart in it like Preacher.
  17. I actually ordered the Vertigo X preview from my useless local 'comic shop' and they never got it for me, is the interview available online?
  18. "Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s City Lights is stalled right now. It's an extremely personal book, something that everyone wants to be exactly as imagined, so the agreement is that it gets done when it's time to do it, and it has its home at Vertigo when the time comes. No Preacher one-shots are planned, despite rumors, as the story and characters are effectively wrapped up. War Stories will see trades next year, likely four issues each due to size." This news courtesy of THIS article. What the Hell is City Lights? Is this the first time that the title has been heard? I want more info NOW!
  19. This film has the best opening scene of any action film I've ever seen. Nightcrawler kicks so much ass, that it nearly made me cry with joy. Wolverine also actually kills people, they are anonymous soldiers but its still fucking cool to see him cutting loose. Theres so many easter eggs in this film, it'll keep any X-Men fan on their toes. I'll not spoil it, but just keep a look out for when Mystique hacks into the computer.
  20. Check these out. Two people to each cart, I'm not sure. It looks great but I'll wait till I see it running.
  21. I found this site today, its got reviews of X-Men comics going back to last year, its pretty good. Hell, I didn't know that Agent X was a reboot of Deadpool. http://www.thexaxis.com/
  22. I'd be interested in knowing about the current continuity aswell. The last time I read an X-Men comic was the 'Age of Apocolypse', and I've been wanting to get back into it, but theres far too many titles and I dont know where to jump in. Is there a web site which rounds up any of the current stories?
  23. Thats Cheap Trick, and the song is "I want you to want me". Also been covered by Letters to Cleo. "With you bitch slap rappin' and your cocaine tongue, You get nothin' done"
  24. My favourite episode in the series has to be 'Ballad of Fallen Angles'. It was the first Cowboy Bebop I saw when it started here on CNX back at the start of the year. It was like seeing an animated John Woo film, and it got me hooked on the rest of the series. I couldn't believe what i was seeing, and the coolest moment has to be: taken from a script I found online: VICIOUS: The same blood runs in you and me. The blood of a beast who wanders, desiring the blood of others. SPIKE: I've bled all of that blood away. VICIOUS: Then why are you still alive?! Vicious stabs Spike in the shoulder while Spike shoots Vicious in the shoulder. Vicious throws Spike out a stained glass window. Spike drops a grenade.
  25. I'm saying Half Life, probably because when I got a PC for the first time it was the first FPS that had a storyline that gripped me. It was fucking TENSE at some points, and it had magnificent set pieces that couldn't be found in any FPS up to that point. Does anyone remember the crawl through the vents where you could hear a couple of soldiers talking below you, then they heard you and they started shooting up the vent, the sunlight streaming through the bullet holes was just amazing looking for the time.
