  1. why? he's a funny kid and he's just expressing himself. how can you feel bad for him?
  2. oh my god! the kids in my groups loooooove this kid. that's so funny. i didn't know anyone else has heard of him.
  3. i'm sure they'll be coming. usually the bachelorette parties i've gone to have been at clubs but this one was at a dueling piano bar and it was fucking awesome!
  4. also, if you haven't seen it yet, watch the chaser.
  5. i just realized that you took it as a shot at that whole the devil thing but it totally wasn't. sorry about that. also, i believe exit through the gift shop is up on hulu plus. if you haven't used your free trial, you should use it to watch that movie. it will make you feel better.
  6. sorry, i've been a zombie for the last couple of weeks between school and work. i think you would like it, panch. the koreans make excellent revenge flicks. i think sad would be the best word to describe it.
  7. it was ok. i think the trailer was slightly misleading. they played all the crazy parts in the trailer so it made it look like a creepier movie. not that the movie wasn't creepy, but it was actually more sad than anything. i finally saw 127 hours. apparently i'm totally fine with watching amputations but i can't handle watching someone drink stagnant water.
  8. i saw it a while back but pirate radio was a really fun movie. the soundtrack alone is enough to sell the movie.
  9. i'm adding a category for myself of "being in love": home by edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros
  10. It's very stream of consciousness filming and there's a lot of meandering so it gets a little long and boring in places but overall I would give it a 6 (I don't like paz de huerta so that bumps it down for me). It's more visually awesome than anything. The plot is not really that original but i would say the execution is what makes this film stand out. and it's more sweet in a disturbing way than disturbingly sweet as I had originally posted.
  11. marlins stadium in little havana is going up pretty quick for miami standards. perhaps they should bring that crew over to finish up biscayne blvd. years and years of off and on construction on one road is getting a little ridiculous.
  12. trippy, disturbingly sweet and sad. also, i apologize for my mix-up that shamalamana didn't write or direct the devil. however, if the uber-catholic guy was in the story he wrote as well and served as a similar plot device, then i withdraw my apology.
  13. i care, obviously. it was lazy storytelling. shamylamy's treating his audience like they are functionally retarded and need to be spoon-fed the information, which makes for a very boring movie. i would have understood the movie without that dude because it wasn't that complex of a concept. the title of the movie is really all you need to get it.
  14. i give a resounding "meh" to the devil. shamalalaymaylan's storytelling abilities are lazy as fuck. how convenient to have a super-catholic hispanic security guard explain EVERYTHING that's going on. how convenient. it wasn't as bad as the (nothing's) happening but that's not really saying much, is it? anyway, the last movie i saw was trick r treat, which is actually based off an animated short i watched 10 or so years ago called season's greetings. the movie was actually pretty entertaining.
  15. the king's speech. colin firth and geoffrey rush were amazing.
