  1. Facts update. The is some discrepancy stating that reporters confirmed the actress' death with the funeral home's obituary, not by direct contact. Regardless, it's been reported that a representative for Kidder has stated that she died in her sleep Sunday; as to what ultimately caused her passing has yet to be stated.
  2. The actress who, for many of us, was the first to play Lois Lane on the big screen; Margot Kidder passed away at the age of 69 in her home in Montana. No other information available at this time. Death had to be confirmed by reporters by contacting the funeral home, talk about a low profile.
  3. I remember reading about there was a pack of dog creatures in one of the last ones-
  4. Seconded! Still, Obi-wan at the center of his own movie still seems like a stretch... I could see him in the background but not at the center of his own film... if the movie was all about him, what would he be doing, practicing his Krayt Dragon calls? If SW:Rebels has shown us anything is that if he does something too substantial, jump ten feet in the air, levitate a pebble, or flash a lightsaber at a bad guy, he'd have inquisitors all up his ass in a heartbeat.
  5. wait... hybridization? So who's the predator love child?
  6. Andy Serkis' Klaue was awesome! Watching him was fun as hell and he floored me with his lines of 'could have put it in a fancy suitcase but I thought I'd save myself some money' when pulling out a phallic shaped piece of Vibranium from his pants that was simply wrapped in paper and when he cackled 'I made it rain!' like a psychotically happy toddler after accidentally exploding a safe full of cash sending the money everywhere. I'd definitely like to see more of that character as comedy relief in a Suicide Squad type film.
  7. Good, I found this so I know I wasn't the only one thinking it.
  8. a party for each personality... so much cake... ?
  9. it doesn't need to be a pop up or anything, just move the stupid birthday notice to the top of the page near the search bar or something
  10. Fuck, sorry about missing that... those notices really need to be at the top of the board and no buried at the bottom.
  11. There's a Meme going around that tickled my funny. Can't find the one with the caption but here's a source pic. Spoilers.
  12. holyshitkabibbles batman! Wish they'd throw in a Spiderman nod but, wow...
  13. I'd be so down for that if not for Lord Bowler being gone... and now no more ghostly visits by County Sr... at least Professor Wickwire is still around for now
  14. I've read that Toad had a lot more screen time in the first cut; the running gag was he'd always ask "Do you know what happens when a Toad..." which was why Storm had her one-liner at the end. Cutting room floor stuff.
  15. they have the crotch shot... indeed he has the stones to help us...
  16. It'll be Disney making them... So I guess that instead of a stuffed Unicorn, the next Deadpool will have him masturbating using a Mini Mouse doll? I'm sorry, I'm still a little hung up on that 100 pages in comics article that Nick linked... and he was right, that image haunts you.
  17. Found this map showing the predominant world cultures recently, didn't know where to put it. And All I can think of is the meme "What the Fuck Japan. Sincerely- The Rest of the World"
  18. From complications from Alzheimer's. He was 84 years old. Though not a tv or movie star he was a staple of my childhood growing up with my parents tuning-in NPR, and even today I still have NPR set to #1 on my own car's radio. Up until his retirement I would catch his newscasts especially Morning Edition and made special effort to listen to Wait, Wait, don't tell me. Those that know me know I'm a big Newshound and though not as big an influence on me as Cronkite he was still a radio Icon.
