  1. So the terminator franchise has turned into the crisis on infinite earths now... ah well, give us more laser guns, robots and power armor; we'll still watch it.
  2. Philistine! That joke is a national treasure!
  3. His voice work was all over the place just no one could place it with his face. You might recognize some of his latter work like the mad scientist/father figure/creator of Stitch, Dr. Jumba, in every one of the pieces of the Lilo and Stitch media franchise; and Solovar, chief of security for Gorilla City in the Bruce Timm Justice League DCAU.
  4. RIP Major Winchester. ‘M*A*S*H’ Actor David Ogden Stiers Dies at 75
  5. shit, they're really going after the audience with a scattergun on this, seeing what hits.
  6. Huh, I've run down the entirety of Mystery Hondo's Theater 3000 and we apparently do not have any dedicated Men in Black thread. A full search for the phrase throughout the entirety of the forums shows that we have talked about the films and there was even a mini-movie review of 3 but we don't have a dedicated thread. If we ever did in the past it's gone now. weird.
  7. if there was one then it must have been deleted, it's not showing up for me either and I tried a few combos... also, they need J or K as the new head of MIB, bring in new agents but there have got to be cameos for continuity... too bad Rip Torn went mental, I missed him in 3.
  8. Wasn't their an earlier series of TV movies made in Poland or something? I'll wiki it later.
  9. Yes, I can see why it was, indeed, the Darkest Hour...
  10. killmonger is just one pair of cuffed gloves shy of nailing it
  11. Then I guess you wouldn't have liked the 2013 film Mama
  12. That's not much help nowadays, Hayden Christiansen is a decent-to-good actor, and he was certainly able to emote with just his pained and forlorn looks, but Lucas's shit dialogue and terrible directing (where he told his Jedi to act stiff, detached and withdrawn) made a bunch of great actors and their characters look like shit. Ford is quoted on record stating "George, you can type this shit but you can't say it!" And I don't see actors, especially those playing already established characters, being able to bring some actual authenticity to the screen. So I'm a little worried.
  13. the guy they got for the lead looks and sounds more like jack nicholson then harrison ford. i have no idea what to expect from this movie but the constant delays and changing directors from earlier in production do not fill me with confidence.
  14. You're getting old... also, it's comics, you'll never be able to keep up with the convoluted nightmare of continuity... like batman using guns and killing people or how huntress was his and catwoman's daughter while he, as bruce wayne, was police commissioner.
  15. Captain Marvel movie is set in the 70s or 80s, since the Ultimate Marvel comic Fury that the MCU is based on lost his eye in the first gulf war he would still have both eyes back then. The Hoff Fury had a fake eye under his eye-patch along with a lock-pick sewn into the underside of the patch, bad guys took the pick but didn't realize the fake eye itself was also a bomb.
  16. You know what this reminds me of? This:
  17. Yeah, the reason I specifically brought up the DJ scene in Deadpool and not all his other cameos and appearances (even other Deadpool works) was because of the bare tits that were all over the place. He HAD to know what kind of material he was working with even if he'd never seen it before; It wasn't just him and a crew filming in front of a green screen; he HAD TO KNOW. And he was still okay with it. Same with the Mallrats scene, Jason Lee was saying that shit right in front of him... and as I hear it Lee's nailed more chicks than Jagger. So I don't see how Stan Lee would have a problem with the character. Ah well.
