    I know, I know...too soon for celebration.
  2. Shit! This better be out really frickin' soon cuz I am so ready to platinum this game.
  3. How 'bout that Demon's Souls!! Winter Solstice still in full effect. Coming Monday ....too bad I lent out my copy
  4. Fixed.
  5. I just gotta say that this past episode (10) is probably the best one this season. While slow at first, it gradually heated up. I do have to agree with Panch that certain characters don't feel like themselves but the new ones like Lumen (Styles has been excellent) and Chase (to this point) have been played out really well. Let's hope this season ends with a bang like the last one. Two more episodes to go.
  6. At first glance, I was like "Oooh". Once I realized she talks (albeit nonsense), I don't want to look at her anymore. I DO, but I won't. Shouldn't have clicked that youtube link. Besides, she reminds me of someone else. Yeah, I'm gonna go look at that 'someone else' some more.
  7. Finally. After starting my character over twice, I got that Platinum. -__-
  8. Tekken (2010) [DVD] D+ Terrible. Terrible fucking movie. Cheap effects. Corny dialogue. Horrendous delivery. Laughable costumes. Atrocious sountrack. And that's just five minutes into the movie, folks. Oh, and don't even get me started on the story. I can't knock it completely though. Tamlyn Tomita does an acceptable job in her short-lived depiction of Jun Kazama. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa was a decent Heihachi and Ian Anthony Dale stood out as a some-what badass Kazuya... some-what. Oh yeah, Luke Goss as Steve Fox was ok too... except he's bald and doesn't really box. Everyone else just looked the part (barely in some cases and not at all in others) and not much was contributed to their respective characters. Some of the choreography was decent but overall it's easy to see why it didn't even make it to theaters (except in Japan). While no where near as bad as The Legend of Chun-Li, this movie can at least be viewed for some of the fights and a gratuitous amount of ass shots via Christie Monteiro. But even then, view at your own risk. As a semi Tekken fan, I didn't want to see it, I felt like I had to. It kinda hurt. Where the hell were Paul, King and Kuma??
  9. I have Away We Go sitting on my shelf and i have yet to see it. i have to give it a shot at some point.
  10. Wait. What? Am I getting this right?! You're not siding with Konami and winking over at Capcom's direction? Nick, don't get the girls excited now. In any case, there's always room at Club Capcom. Greet the nice girl at the entrance and make sure you sign in at the front desk. Oh yeah, don't forget to pick up the free Sengoku Basara schwag on the way in.
  11. How could you of all people not back Konami? You know you want to...
  12. Well this one was a no-brainer for me.
  13. Ah. Final Fantasy VIII. As pretty as it was, I could not follow that story as a teenager. Its not till I played it again two years ago where I was just taken aback at the insanity in this game. Intergalactic time traveling witches, moon monsters, obscure flashbacks that conveniently reveal that your entire party grew up together in the same orphanage. Oh Final Fantasy VIII, you rascal. Wait... how did this thread go from XIII to VIII? Someone forget to add the extra V?
