Just saw the first episode of this anime and was pleasantly surprised to see the Trigger studio back at it again (with the white vans) with a very different premise than what I'm used to from them. This anime is going to follow a group of students who all share pain evenly between themselves. I'm digging the themes and the animation style, so I'm definitely going to see where this goes.

Just came across this anime called "Joker Game." It deals with Japanese spies right as World War II is about to start. The description didn't sell me on it, even though I love the World War II era AND spies; but I will say that by the end of the 2nd episode I was intrigued to see where it was going to go. It is definitely A LOT slower paced than everything else I've liked this Spring, but I think that's what makes it refreshing (and what helps it stand out). Consider it recommended.

I've had to digest the ending of this 12-episode anime since it ended a couple of weeks ago. This thing was phenomenal - beginning to end - I loved it! Highly recommend it! Best way I could try to sell it is: Imagine "Quantum Leap" and "Murder, She Wrote" crashing together into a Japanese art studio and giving birth this! Must. Watch.

Like everything im catching up with this rather late. For those of you that dont know what im talking about, is simple. A kinda fucked up video, that looks like every anime lover/ Otaku wet dream, and it will give you seizures if you are not used to it, but looking past the first impression is a rather deep critique to japanese youth and addictive behavior. You can watch it here: http://vimeo.com/113998423 If anyone know where i can find a translation for the lyrics, it will be aprecciated.
