About Ibanez: It surely kicks ass!!! Why do you think the guitar-master, Steve Vai, directly designs his guitars to be made by Ibanez??? I can say he's got a weird taste about design, but they sure rock!!! Strats are more classic and sound better when palyed clean, Ibanez are better for distortion.

Hey guys, what's the big deal about power chords?. I've been self-teaching myself (weird) about rock basics for about two years now in a electric guitar. I can't say I rock as hard as I wish to, but I'm not so bad at it. Have you ever tried the pentatonic-scale based chords on the third-eight? That's hard stuff, really. Power chords are piece of cake!.
A small hint form you guys afraid of the acoustic: Even though it's harder to learn, it provides more strength and speed when you practice on it, so it's worth the pain. electric guitar gets waaaayyyyy too easier after, so you'll become even better players when you switch to it.
Keep on the good work

I've been doing some research myself because I am convinced that there is no music collection complete without some 80's hits. It's some kind of flashback weird stuff that reminds me of some good moments spent in my past, and there are some songs worth a lot even at a musical concern.
I'm more in the mood of electric-rock classics, so here is what I've found:
Cutting Crew: Died in your arms tonight
Breakfast Club: Don't you forget about me
???: Send me an Angel
Starship: We built this city
Genesis, Land of Confusion
Europe: Final Countdown
Survivor: Eye of the Tiger
Eagles: Hotel California
Billy Joel: We didn't start the fire
Dire Straits: Money for nothing
A-ha: Take on me
Gerry Rafferty: Baker Street
Whitesnake: Here i go again on my own
???: Video Killed the radio stars
Romantics: Talking in your sleep
I'm not sure if I have included some early 90's stuff in here, so if anyone finds some, please open my eyes.
No 80's music collection is complete...

Hey! I did some research to find out that "We Didn't start the fire" was released on 1989, in the album "Storm Front". So I was right all the time!!!!!
