  1. Oh yeah, I loved the music!

Ok, I'm off to reccomend this to my ex professor. I was concerned about whether it would be boring to listen to ideas/concepts/theories that you're already highly familiar with. But our resident cowby's a fickin major in the shit and he still loved it so...

  2. Bon Jovi is cool, but I would certainly not say everything of theirs is good. Always and It's My Life come to mind.

Well you know, I was careful enough not to declare that everything they did was good. I said instead that I liked everything.

    "-Standing in the rain

    with his head hung low

    couldn't get a ticket

it was a sold out show

Heard the roar of the crowd

    he could picture the scene

put his ear to the wall

    and like a distant scream

    he heard one guitar!!

    blew him away!

    saw stars in his eyes

    and the very next day

he bought a beat up six string...."

Man why is it that no one thought to do that cool thing they do with the film? The very first moment, I was impressed. 5 to 10 minutes in I was sold. and you know what, it had conflict, it hadcharacters, good ones, it even had PLOT dammit....well maybe nt as much but it was still fuckin great.

I'd like to know what other ppl thought, those of you that have seen it, before I start recommending it to ppl. so post away

  4. Ok this sucks! I just typed all the lyrics to this song and somehow lost my reply. I didnt' wanna say my son without giving the explanation and all this behind it. But now I don't really give a hoot anymore.( give a hoot? what am I British?)

it's Baba 'O' Reily by the Who.

But for those of you that know me and say.."What?!! that's not you at all! "   The song is not at all what I am, it's what I wanna be.

  5. "I've been walkin in the footsteps of society's lies

I don like what I see no more

Sometimes I wish I was blind

          Sometimes I wish forever

To stand out in the rain

So no one sees me cryin

          Tryna wash away this pain"

from keep the faith (Jon Bon Jovi)

I like everything I've ever heard from these ppl with a passion.

  6. I wonder, if ppl become unhappy in relationships becasue they end up consuming each other by becoming to meshed in...then would it be a smart move to be with somone who's foundational mesh is so different from yours that you could never become one, never consume each other?

    Just a thought  :D

  7. You know, when you're in the dorms you do everything to get away from Ramen, you even go down to those little "programmes" they have downstairs and torture youselves through a valuable hour listening to some sappy crap so you could moch off their food. Yet, when it seems you've finally broken free, Noostalgia slaps you in the face and suddenly ramen is so appealing.

  8. Oooh ohh. Psylocke. I know I don't read as many comics as I probably should to make this call, but hell they're always around and I've looked at enough of the pictures. Psylocke has this great look and amazing intrigue for me...but she seems to rarely show up (was sorta disappointed when she didn't shw in the movie:(). hell maybe that's the only freakin reason she's so damn enigmatic.

  9. It's hard to refute this without giving away stuff, but I do beleive he was lying to Pacino when he said he "accidentally" killed her. He was just messing with him. the Bruises and stuff proved that he tortured her. Beat her to death over a period of like 15 minutes or something.

I didn't see the trailer so I guess I didn't go in with much expectations at all. butat any rate I don't think it deserved a walk out.
