2 I saw last night and a couple of thoughts on each...

Brian DePalma's attempt at Hitchcock... haven't seen this in years and it was on cable...

I realized 2 things while watching this...

1.) This movie could SO be made again today and be really really good.

2.) I want to play a round of Body Shots with Melanie Griffith.

also, a "Hitchcockian" approach in movie twists and plot.

1.) I personally loved it and thought Anniston was beautiful and Owen brilliant. The ending rocked.

2.) I want to play a round of Body Shots with Jennifer "Vaughn"

Bargain bins at the El Target are often ripe with some action gems for under 10 bucks. Picked this one up and enjoyed it alot again on Infinfilm's dvd. It has guns, murders, fires, car chases, shoot outs.

It has DeNiro and Burns.

I bought this Boyle Double pack (28 Days/The Beach) in WS Unrated SE.

Great movies both of them. I think Boyle is a refreshing director with a "reality" feel to his films. They are grainy, raw and the cinematography is spectacular.

I loved 28 days. It had a constant chase and run element to it, the spec. effects were cool, and the atmosphere in which it was filmed macabre.

Pick this one up, great Zombie, suspense, thriller, horror hybrid.

With that said, I think that a sequel would do very well, and could be done quite well actually, as there is plenty of material to reinvent a post-apocalypse survival film that would be both entertaining and suspenseful.

Can't wait to hear more as pre-production takes place.

Could be cool.

Haven't seen that one in awhile, I forget the soundtrack to be honest.

Shit. I think you covered all of em.

.... this is the miniseries from 2000, not the David Lynch nightmare. Great Sci Fi story across 3 discs.
