  1. I'm slipping in my old age. I forget that the friend of my enemy IS still my enemy.

    Everything has changed now.

Happy Birthday Spycer. Clearly your the better man, things will never be the same. I believe my time here is now done. I'll retreat to friends that actually have my back, and defend what it means to be Danny.

May your wife-beatings grow like the mighty oak!

Burn in hell. Good-bye everyone, I've really enjoyed it, and I'll miss you all. -danny (d.fluff street dancer)

  2. Best Batman Movie yet, even better than the older Tim Burton Batman.

I went back and rewatched those burton ones and man, I really have a different impression now. I used to think the first two were really good and the series went down hill from there. Upon reviewing now I don't like either of them. I guess these new versions aren't helping those look good.

This was incredible, I really like it, and have no complaints. except the part

Batman becomes Daredevil. That shit made me smile on the inside.

    Ledger was pure gold.

  3. I need to know who I've sent shit to, and who I havn't. I know I sent some to Nick because he seemed to be behind the times, with Baytor, but if you two want to remind me what you have I'd be willing to do what I can in catching you up.

In the meantime, I'm watching "The Two Towers" right now, and I'm buzzed off my ass and shouldn't even be posting, but hopefully you know what thats like. So let me know what you have, thats the bottom line. -d.fluff (street dancer)

  4. Album wise I'd go

    rush of blood

    viva la vida

    x&y

    parachuts

Thats really hard though, cause honestly I really really like x&y.

New album, song wise. I felt like it started out great, that first song I would most likely say I like the most right now. I mainly just felt like the album could've ended better. Its not that the songs near the end are bad, I don't know really how to explain that, but anywho. I also wish the album were longer, feels way to short.

  5. Baytor does this on a daily basis. There's a lotta stuff I like man, so don't look too hard.

I take back the Hulk remark. It's a well-made move, I just can't stay awake through it. You gotta understand just how much I revere the source material for the Punisher Movie man, and then see just how badly they broke my goddamned heart.

I also really love Ennis's work, I have 14 tpbs (all on max, and the few oop one's from marvel knights I could find at Half Price over the years) , so I know what you mean, I just thought the beginning of the movie wasn't too bad. The area with the room mates was right out of "welcome back frank" wasn't it. The russian too? To say its worse than batman and robin just hurts.

Thank you for the hulk take back.

  6. D. Fluff - really? Batman & Robin? i had a hard time making it through the Rifftrax, man.

As did I, which confuses me about your comment. Skeet was saying that B&R was better than Thomas Jane's Punisher, thats what set me off. Sorry for confusion.

Alive she cried, I shoulda quoted, you had nothing to do with anything.

Silent Bob, I also defend the director's cut. You are not alone.

  7. Like I said in some other thread, I really Loved Ang Lee's Hulk. There were a few things I wasn't so happy about, but all in all I thought it superb.

Saw the new one today and it was also very good. I'm still not too certain about which one is better(start bitching, I know). I don't understand how people can pan the first one and love this so much. I really thought after the first one blundered they would fill this new with non-stop action to cater to america's small attention span, but no. It still had the plot and character development aspects that Lee's had. I love the hulk through and through, I'm just really glad I got to see another movie.

Like Silentbob noted, I also loved the use of the frames in Lee's hulk. Thought it was brilliant.

  8. I was just thumbing through "marvels" and it does look like they're photographs he's using. For one thing some of the poses shown would be impossible to hold for too long, like that captain america one,

Second, if he's painting these people as models wouldn't all the pictures be in the same place like his studio.

Some of this dude's ripoffs are more inspired by then completely ripping off, like that cover from Sojourn. He used the position and the boobs, but the rest of that cover isn't stolen.

I still have alot of respect for Ross and Land, and I still believe what they do counts as art and not tracing.

    *later that day

I checked out that link rachael posted, it is very interesting and kinda funny.
