Reverend Jax Posted October 24, 2002 Share Posted October 24, 2002 Saw Catch22 at the Culture Room in Ft Lauderdale on the 22nd, along with Homegrown and Mest. Homegrown was pretty good, and Mest sounded too much like Good Charlotte, but I went for Catch22. I was 2 1/2 years overdue for that show. I was supposed to see them on my 18th birthday with some friends, but I had to play for my baseball team. My coach said that if I skipped, he wouldn't give me credit for that term and I couldn't graduate. So I had to choose between graduating and Catch22, a choice I still regret Anyway, they ruled. There was crowd surfing and stage diving galore and plenty o moshing My roommate caught the drummer's drumstick. Not enough songs off their Keasbey Nights album, but for $12, I was satisfied.
