JunkerSeed Posted January 15, 2003 Share Posted January 15, 2003 I don't know why I thought this one would be good... Denzel is a great fuckin actor, this is his directorial debut... I guess I had a reason to plop down 7 dollars... Eh, I won't waste much bandwidth on this one, it wasn't terrible, but it did have some pretty fuckin bad parts. At one point, the main character recites a poem called "Who will cry for the little boy?" and Denzel replies to the poem by saying "Antwone.... who will cry for the little boy?" I was the only person in the theater laughing... Eh, basically some great performance on a really shitty script. It was a true story but still all cliched and boring, if someone's life story sounds like a movie for gods sake dont make it into one cause we've already seen that shit before.
