  1. Yes. I remember you specifically saying that you would want Nolan to adapt DKR after what he's done for Batman with Begins and Dark Knight. Nolan is a brilliant director, but I didn't agree saying only Snyder would do justice to the source material.

  2. *Ask Nick and Panch about my rant on mechanical webshooters in the new Spider-Man.

THIS is a subject that NEEDS its own thread! I can only imagine the conversation we'll have on here on the topic. Maybe it's a bad idea, though... I like most of you guys and would hate to squander that with a mechanical web-shooter discussion gone horribly wrong.

  3. Yes, maybe Baytor is on to something here.

I remember walking out of Watchmen years back and the only thing that kept running through my mind was, 'YES! Snyder's gonna direct DKR next'! I mean after the insane attention to detail he put into 300 and Watchmen, this was a no brainer. Jon (C_U_Spacecowboy) and I have had this conversation before and he says that Christopher Nolan could helm DKR. I say no. While I'm sure there's dozens of folks that can make that movie, I would only have confidence in Snyder to do it RIGHT.

  4. Did anyone see Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole? Not this guy. Are we gonna treat that movie like intrafamily molestation and just not talk about it?

I saw it and it was cool.

I believe that Sucker Punch was Snyder's attempt to silence the critics. They've been harsh on him since Watchmen, saying that he can't make an original film. While I don't think that, y'all might disagree after Sucker Punch. It's kinda true, though. All his movies have previous source material to pool from. Dawn of the Dead. 300. Watchmen. Even the owl movie! I think he got sick of the criticism and tried to give the world something original. While I think he did give us something original, I do agree with you guys that it had the potential to be something great, but missed its opportunity.

  5. Taco Bell is the only place where I've probably eaten everything on the menu (except for that new shrimp taco). I'm the type of guy that will go to places and always eat the same thing. I dont know how Taco Bell does it.
