Liam has no fucking clue what a Hellblazer or Constantine are. He has purchased Wytches but not read it yet, and is intrigued by Swamp Thing (because Wes Craven did the movie) but not read my copies yet.
I wish I had an older brother with a relatively respectful comic collection just sitting waiting to be read.
True, but I will definitely be reading both. I heard despite being cancelled, Swamp Thing tv series got good reviews.

I'm a big fan, have the box set on disc and a few albums on vinyl - some of tjr better new wave I've been exposed to
can't stand losing you, bed's too big without you, invisible sun and countless others - also, i feel it's commonly known that sting of this era was constantine's inception, but listen to the lyrics of wrapped around your finger and tell me that's not where hellblazer comes from
Three classics. While I do enjoy Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Invisible Sun was MVP on the Ghost In The Machine Album.
This is perhaps my favourite of the lot.
Copeland penned three underrated gems in my eyes, Does Everyone Stare, Darkness and Miss Gradenko

Soccer. Used to play two to three times a week. Try to get at least one game a week in these days. I'd like to play tennis more, but hard to find a playing partner during winter months.

I really started getting into this band about 3 years ago. They are now my favourite band of all time. Recently attended a tribute band of the group, was fantastic! Curious to get others opinions on the relatively short but huge impact of Sting, Summers and Copeland as a trio.

Best film I've seen in years.

Young Fathers - No way.
In college writing an assignment, so maybe I should be going with something classical.

The greatest sequel in the history of film?
Discuss.......
Given my username, it's only fitting I opened this thread.

Proud to say I was a Steve Harrington fan from the very beginning.

The original was a bonafide classic! Downhill since then.

I hope the new series will be in black and white.
Monumental act to follow.

Okay before I proceed I need to understand, do you want scary atmospheric music or music in the Halloween vein. Cause I can give you a ton of horror movie music that is on theme but not terribly spooky.
I'm always on board for some horror theme scores too. Always have a few thrown in for good measure!

Dracula, 1931 edition with Bela Lugosi. The opening 20 minutes of that film is some of the best use of atmospheric horror I've seen.

Acquiring the relatively new Friday The 13th game for the PS4, would be a good decision as October approaches.

I hope Adam Hunter is in it. Wish it was based more on the style of the original.

Dammit haven’t seen this one! Adding it to my list.
Maybe watch it around Halloween season, as it's not too far away.

The idea for this thread stems from the fact I have a book entitled, 101 Horror Films You Must See Before You Die, in which this film is no where to be seen.
I feel it is often overlooked and not nearly appreciated enough.
I'm not sure how well known it is in the States but highly recommended.
Perfect blend of dark humour and horror.
The directorial debut of Danny Boyle and one of the first films starring Ewan McGregor. Alsostarring Christopher Eccleston, who may be familiar to Dr. Who fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbxNej_MJlw

What are your picks?
Brazil have a well balanced side and will be out to make a point after a humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany in the semi-finals at the last world cup. Spain and Germany will have a big say too. Uruguay are my out side tip.

Although Malcolm is my favourite character, I hope he isn't in any scenes on the Island, as there is no possible reason he would subject himself to such a scenario yet again.
