Sorry guys :p !!!
I remembered that one from the PJs that claymation thing with Eddie Murphy as the voice, it was pretty funny.
Hey judge, you on for guesting in the drunken forum for a club night? ???
-
No plans at all, god that is shit. I was hoping to go over to the UK to watch them thought that they might do one or two, but none. I'm not a happy bunny!! :dissappointed:
Oh yeah check out this page for really up to date info on their tour events! Nekosite.co.uk

How could any one forget the classic
Shaving Ryan's Privates!!
-
I can't believe i let this one pass.
Noel Gallagher - Oasis
Paul Weller - The Jam (And Solo)
Slash - Gun's N Roses, think he was mentioned,
Billy Corgan & James Iha - Pumpkins
:D
-
"Ah the perfect crime, hee hee hee!!!"
-
Blade 2 sound track looks good, Chemical Bros, Paul Oakenfold, Wu-Tang, Roni Size, Moby, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Cypress Hill, Fatboy Slim!! Must buy that!!
A lot of collaborations there, like Cypress Hill & Roni Size, still it will be good i reckon!!
-
IC i never recommended the watchin of the live action version of FOTNS, far from it the manga version is way superior.
BTW why you gone shy on mine and KoS's drinkin forum???
-
the film that got me hooked had to be Vampire Hunter D!!! This i saw on channel 4 late one saturday night!! and it was just when D shot a baddy with a gun which spliced them in half that got me hooked.
However at that time i was watching the Guyver!!! Fist of the North Star, Dangerous Jack!, 3x3 eyes!! Wicked City, ones i'd mentioned in a previous thread, they were the ones that got me hooked!
-
I can't believe that the following have not been included in this list.
1: The Sex Pistols
2: Thin Lizzy
3: Guns n' Roses
4: Foo Fighters
:D
Thats about all for now!!
-
Good stuff!!
There was one that i forgot to mention....... Fist of the North Star, one of the first anime movies i saw, and i was hooked!!!
Its class!!
Didn't mean to imply that all you watched sissy films!!
Here's what the sleeve looks like!!
They even made a film from it!!!
-
Having recently bought the OST to Ocean's 11 (Produced by Belfast's David Holmes :irish: I thought it'd be a good thread.
So what over movie soundtracks are good!? ???
-
So what is the best Sex Pistols song ??? ?
You decide!! Personally i think Anarchy in the UK do you Agree or Disagree!!
-
Yeah i knew you were going to say that and you know that i have to disagree
Well their first two albums were great, then Be Here Now was shite, then i thought they had redeemed themselves with Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, which includes Fucking in The Bushes, which is on the Snatch soundtrack! Where Mickey goes horizontal in a Match!!!
So only time will tell if this new album of theres is any good!
-
Blade 2 was a good film definately worth seeing.
**Slight Spoiler**
Some of the CG was a bit blurry but it was cool.
As for the cheesy WWF style "The Elbow drop from the top turnbuckle!" and Blades Verticle Suplex on one of those Footsoldiers!!! I think it was just hilarious!
Also after that confrontation you expect Whistler to throw him down a Knife or something, but oh no its his shades, he can't go anywhere without them!!!
All in all a class film!!
:approve:

Having a quick look in here, and a bit of discussion it seems that this forum needs some balls!! Nearly all the Manga (Anime) films which are talked about are soppy, women friendly stuff!! This has to end :shoot:
Its time to talk about something a little better. Anime that has Balls!! We all know and love Akira
I wanna to hear of other greats like, Vampire Hunter D
Devil Man , 3x3 Eyes , Appleseed, Wicked City , The Guyver!!
Come on lets talk about the Manly Classics and not the little chick flick style ones!!
-
Oasis
One of the best British Bands of the nineties that is without Doubt, Two Stonking Albums (Definately Maybe & Whats the Story? Morning Glory) one mediocre album (Be Here Now) Then Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. A good comeback!
Well i want to know what you think of this, are they their own unique brand of rock n roll or are they just cheap rip offs of the Beatles!! :weed:
I wanna hear your views on this one!?
-
Can't wait to catch that, sounds really Good :approve:
-
I have more than one defining song! what i think for myself and a couple my mates picked out!!
1: Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The UK
Cos its Class!!
2: The Verve - Lucky Man
Cos my mates say i'm a Jammy Bastard!!!
-
Cheers IC. I agree with you Offshore is class, its just something about the vocal sample of Maire Brennan that just makes it for me.
The Paul van Dyk mix of Flaming June is class, other great dance songs would be Hybrid - Finished Symphony, Timo Maas - UBIK, Paul van Dyk - For an Angel, William Orbit - Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten Mix), any other good ones that i've left out let me know.
-
KOS i think i found your giant spoon!! its up MY ass!!
Some good calls there, don't agree with your prodigy choice, but its a good list anyway!!
Definately agree with the satan call!! That song is so good live!!
Actually i was just trawling through my CDs there and i came across "Chicane - Saltwater ft Maire Brennan of Clannad" what a f******* "CHOON" that is.
Any other contenders for best dance track ever let me know what y'all think!!
But that'd be up there in my top five
Edited for comedic value! How'd you like them apples?!
-
Well i was going for songs based on there anthemic value, there is no doubt that SLTS was an anthem,
I'm sorry but No Good, is 100x better than voodoo people. Pretty big prodigy fan myself.
I know nirvana wrote better songs than that. i meant to say for u2 "Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me" which is a far better song.
thanks for your feed back.

Well well well!!!!!
The nineties, what a decade, the gulf war, israeli violence, Saddam, Monica Legwinski, windows 95 crashing all the time!! nerds wetting themselves over the re-release of the star wars trilogy.
its over to you, what do you remember most (musically, throw in anything else you want though) about the darling 90s!!?
Top 10 bands + Songs of The Nineties In no particular order.
1: Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
2: Foo Fighters - Everlong
3: The Prodigy - No Good (Start The Dance)
4: Oasis - Live Forever
5: Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm
6: Chemical Brothers - Block Rockin Beats
7: Aphex Twin - Windowlicker/Come to Daddy (Too Close to call what do you reckon KOS?)
8: Orbital - Halcyon
9: U2 - Staring at the Sun
10: Moby - Go
Now i wanna hear your opinions, i'm a European so excuse my taste in music!!!
-
Yeah i agree totally.
INXS had some good stuff in the late 80s, early 90s as well.
Tell you something though, Blue Monday sounds 1000 times better when its being banged by Paul Oakenfold to 10,000 revellers!!!!
-
Big Up KOS, cheers for sorting that all out for me!!
Well i would have to say i think the most definitive song of the 80s would have to be New Order - Blue Monday
That for me just epitimises the peoples fascination with cheesy electro pop from that era!!!
