  1. Jesus christ goddamn... Issue 15 filled me with a sense of overwhelming... dread that only the very best horror stories have made me feel. It was sort of a "Why am I reading this? This is fucking horrible... it doesn't make me feel good... why am I reading if the book fills me with this terrible feeling?" And that is why it's called "horror." The horror genre is the most perplexing thing ever because if done right it's the most unpleasent thing in the world to experience.

And holy crap is this book done right!

  2. So... there are missions in the game that require you to kill police officers and innocent people to progress any futher (one has you burying a construction worker alive for whistleting at your sister) and that gets a bit of flack, but now you say there's hidden SEX in the game? Oh my lord! Senseless violence against innocent people is one thing.... but CONSENTUAL SEX????? Somebody hold the presses! Get this game off the shelves! God forbid our children see a NAKED GIRL after they've just beaten 5 crackheads to death with a baseball bat.

This is what pushes grand theft auto into the adults only category? I think my head is about to fucking explode. But that's ok, a kid could see me head explode... as long as I have my clothes on, that is.

  3. Nas follows in the footsteps of Outkast, Notorious BIG, 2Pac, and Jay-Z with a massive 24 tracks on two CD's.

ahem.... AND bone thugs n' harmony... (''the art of war'' was 2-disc)

  4. Just found out that Symphony X is headlining the second stage at Gigantour. Jax, where are you on this one? 20 bucks for Dream Theater and Symphony X at west palm beach!!! Not to mention a bunch of other amazing metal bands. I thought you'd be going nuts about this one.

  5. Testing out this signature thing I'm jumping on the bandwagon to. pretty nice. I get to pimp out the new Idlewild cd (well, I dunno if it's new in the UK but it aint even out in the US yet, I had to download it.) It's the best stuff they've ever done IMO and I love their other stuff. Download the song I'm listeng to!!!

  6. Fucking brilliant! Makes the other RE games look light complete crap. This game is intense as hell! It really got me when I saw a dude with a chainsaw for the first time, and I ran like hell, got behind a door and the chainsaw went THROUGH the door and the bastard hit me in one hit! I was like "what the fuck?", but this makes perfect sense, of course I'd die in one hit! What do I think this is, a fucking videogame?

Anyways, this is one of the best games on the GC by far.

  7. walking dead is oen of the best books I've ever readm and some of the best zombie fiction i've ever experienced. Unfortunately I have every issue except 14, so I've gotta scour the orlando comic shops for it so i can get on with the story. In my downtime however, I've been reading Y the last man and that is one helluva book too. THe writing is a little spotty sometimes, and the characters often sound like the same person (for example, whenever anyone but yorick makes witty reference to a movie or book I cringe), but man, afetr the 10th issue or so I don't even really notice, I'm hooked, it's smart and extremely funny. I also read the first two issues of "Just a pilgrim" and I was mildly entertained by it. I'm a big enough ennis fan but it;s just not that interesting, the art is OK and the ennis-isms of people getting screwed over in funny ways are cute but nothing really gets me into it.

Also, so far wolverine the end is pretty lame. And the art blow both my nuts and some otehr dudes at the same time.

  8. I think snow patrol is very good stuff, well, I think the album final straw is good, I Dl'd some of their earlier stuff and I'm not as impressed.

And MH, remember, coldplay gets overplayed to hell and back in the states, imagine what they must put up with in europe.

  9. Ya can't be the biggest band of all time if all yer songs sound the goddamn same!

Anyways, I think their 1st album was the most diverse sounding and past that there are a handful of really great songs, but listening to a full album is a pretty boring experience.

  10. I've formatted my computer 4 times this week, last time it was cause my computer crashed while downloading my audio drivers and wouldnt restart windows. Giddamn you Soyo, and your windows-crashing drivers! Anyways, I go to some old forum and find a guy who had the same problem and compiled some ghetto version of the driver I got.

It's nice to know that the drivers off a fucking warez site with porn pop ups all over it are more stable than the one's on the goddamned company's site....

Anyways, I should have a working computer for a couple more weeks, untill my motherboard detaches from my computer, walks up to my bed and eats me in my sleep.

    :D:D

  11. Hey Zombi aint that bad. But yeah, a lot of the italian stuff is worth it more for certain great scenes than being good as a whole. They certainly don't bother with telling a story or anything. I think another title for it is Zombie Flesheaters.

If anyone actually liked Zombi, City of the Living dead is pretty sick. That one's also by Lucio Fulci

It's a hard pick for me between Dawn of the dead, night of the living dead, though Shawn of the Dead is temtping.

Oh, yeah, and I'd also include peter jackson's Dead-alive (Aka braindead) on there. I think it's better zombie comedy than Return of the living dead.

  12. Wow, that was pretty fucking great. I expected it to be good, but it really surprised me. It was so intense... batman was scaring the living crap out of me when he interrogated people. Some of my favorite stuff were the Jim Gordon scenes, cause his character was straight out of Year One. I can't really say enough about it, it pretty much blew me away. I definately put it right up there with Spiderman 2 and I loved spiderman 2.

  13. Damn, it's too bad that tour's onyl playin a few cities. I'll ctach NIN when they do a bigger tour but I'd really like to see the dresden dolls too.

How bout this, the best fucking metal show in years...

    GIGANTOUR featuring:

    MEGADETH

    DREAM THEATER

    FEAR FACTORY

    NEVERMORE

    DILINGER ESCAPE PLAN

No word on the second stage bands but this alone beats out ozzfest now that Iron maiden isn't playing anywhere near florida (god fucking dammit)

I'd see any of these bands alone for a hefty price, all of them touring together is metal heaven.

    August 7th Office depot center!

  14. Hows this for a reason to be pissed. Nine inch nails is not coming to florida. God fucking dammit! I would wait and see if they add more dates, but they already have europe scheduled after america, so theres no space fore more dates. I'm seriously considering driving to atlanta since I've never seen em before, but anyways, I'm really pissed, it's really a pain in the ass that bands are basically too lazy to hit up even one stop in florida.

And another band that I would kill to see thats not coming... Iron maiden. They're playing ozzfest.... but NOT IN FLORIDA, they're gonna leave the tour before then. Fuck everything ...

  15. I dunno, I would kind of like something that would play the actual old cartridges too cause what we're talking about right now will still be no better than hooking up a decent gamepad to my computer. Emulation is great, but never perfect, especially the sound. I'm talking about official stuff too, like the sega smashpacks have relaly shitty sound. When you get an actual cartridge to work, it always blows away any emulator.

  16. Awesome! Absolutely fucking great. Funny as hell and still manages to be a real zombie movie, not just a parody. Beats the living crap out of any other new zombie movie I've seen, 28 days later can't touch it, IMO. They threw all kinds of homages in there that were great, from using music by Goblin (who scored dawn of the dead and lots of other zombie flicks) to the great line "We're coming to get you Barbara!" I can't say enough about this one. Everyone must go see it. This is really turning out to be a great year for movies.
