I'm not an mm legends fan but I think you're seeing starved mm fans vs legends fans. Plus hostility towards capcom though arguably unecessary... Is because of the negative journalism towards them. I still hate capcom btw... When I thought about the whole fiasco on on disc content, it woulda been same diff if they just chose to release it later in digital form. But Sony should be pissed since the same content is on the Xbox ver.

But I digresssssss.... Sequels are never the same because the producers are almost never the same as the original. Sorta like superbowl teams: after the current [product] reaches the pinnacle, individuals demand a bigger piece of the pie, no matter how unfeasible it may be.

But I never really have a gripe playing the qequel before the original... I usually enjoy both as totally individual games.

But distributors market these sequels on the coat tails of previously successful products.

Tho I kinda feel like that guy talking about stuff already mentioned.

They out did themselves with the interactive background objects... This is the closest to "superhero fighting" as you can get... You know... Except the fact if superman hits Harley Quinn w a car shed be dead in a comic o_O.

I preordered the collectors edition.

Just saw the first 5 secs of bioshock 1... Already feel like beating bioshock 2 spoiled it for me... But at least it's gonna be free... I think I'll actually play p1 before infinite. Haven't been this excited about a game series since mmx4 was coming out.

Also, I decided to get trine 2... Graphics look amazing. Hope the actual Game is just as good.

This game is hella good. I remember tomb raider being the bane of my controller woes....

This game is a complete redo. And everything about it (besides multiplayer) is awesome.

Totally disagree about the graphics. The environments n were overwhelmingly immersive, i thought. But voice acting was kinda weak imo.

God of war ascension is pretty good for was it is n the plat is the (2nd) easiest I've ever seen.. 2 days for that bad boy. Tho chapter 28 is a bitch on hard mode.. I'll never get those hrs of my life back :'/

Ps bioshock 2 is muthafuggin awesome. Music, art style, n it creeps me the fuk out to no end. Can't wait to get my hands on p1 n infinite on the 26th.

 

...okay, yeah, we're getting to that point where i've accepted this isn't a proper MGS, it's VR missions by Platinum and i'm getting excited for it. not "gotta have that massive LE" excited, but i wanna play it.

This game has been the most enjoyable in 2013. Even over tomb raider, which was presented just as good via gameplay if you could get past the terrible voice acting all the same (however better than this metal gear).

I almost regret not getting the collectors edition for this game, just as bad as I missed out on the borderlands set. My gaming prowess will not grant me the patience to plat this 1 just yet.. I'm sure mal had that covered in like -.05 playthroughs.

So............. Anyone gonna pony up $1g to pre order the piston?

I'm looking at pre orders on amazon and they're $100 per game.... I just don't know how that's justified..

Besides all the dlc nickel n diming, graphics engines are going to be created and re used for 3 yrs minimum. No ones reinventing the wheel at all this coming gen but games are getting a $40 boost? I hope that's just because its a preorder for an unreleased system. (A la N64)

Yea so after getting dropped from whomever originally funded this global collection of studios to make this sick ass game, the employees/studios collaborated together to form lab zero.

Apparently they were about 1/3 done their first dlc/add-on char, squigly once they got shut down.

So they start a crowd funding tonite, which was announced a month ago during the first worldwide tourney.. The goal is 150k$.... They're alrdy over 130k$ @_@..

I'm just glad to see others appreciating this thing as much as I am. Awesome incentives were given out with donation tiers as well.

Yea I retract that previous post as the wiki lumped marrow wind n skyrim under "thirsk quests".

Beat metal gear rising last nite.. Sat thru all bad accents and Phil Lamar in long ass over drawn out cut scenes. Combat is godforsaken sick in this game however. But the last boss (as usual) is an epic pain in the asshole.
