Hail To The Thief - A Review

I haven't given it more than one listen, but my imediate impression is: Better than Kid A and Amnesiac, not as good as OK Computer, about as good as The Bends. Unfortunately, or maybe exactly as the band wants it, the album has no song taylor made for radio. Maybe "A Punchup at a Wedding," but I doubt any song on the album if released as a single would get any substanstial airplay. Not a major concern for the band. Their audience doesn't buy their albums based on radio hits.

 

I'll give this album a few more listens and come back for a more in depth review. I imagine Junker wants to put in his two cents.
