FireDownBelow
I had a game called Mission Critical. I loved this thing and played it until my husband decided to use one of the discs as a frisbee. Well, it broke. I forked over thirty bucks the other day to buy a replacement. Now, I played this on my old machine. Win 98. XP on my new machin isn't liking it though. The sound is fine. I've got the screen resolution set correctly and am running in 256 color mode, but I'm still not getting any video. Anyone got any ideas? Cause I'm stumped. I've done what my meager computer knowledge enables me to do. I'm about ready to scream though. I REALLY wanted to play this again.
Jont
Obvious question, have you installed or updated your graphics card drivers?
FireDownBelow
LOL. Well, I do have a graphics driver on there and its what came with it when I bought...hmmm, last year, so I don't think updating is a necessary. No, I think the issue is the video card its self. I think. A I said, no clue. I guess it woud help if I could find if its VGA or VESA compatible. I gotta look that up.
