Lycaon
Mushi are categorized as neither plants nor animals. They come in many different types and forms, with different supernatural abilities, sometimes inadvertantly causing trouble for humans. For the most part they do not seem sentient. Their existence is not known to many, as only a limited number of humans are able to see them. Ginko is a "Mushi-shi" (mushi master or collector) who travels around to investigate and find out more about the "Mushi". In the process, he also lends a helping hand to people who face problems with supernatural occurrences which may be related to the "Mushi". The Story was adapted from manga form into an anime, and then a live action movie (which premiered at the 63rd Venice International Film Festival this year). The anime is good from what I've seen (I have yet to finish it), and the art is interesting, the colors very vivid. The anime series, from what I've heard has been licensed by Funimation (not sure of their release schedule). The anime: The live action: Been meaning to post about this for a while...
