**Waves hands at the back**
I've been following this one from trade 1, awesome awesome stuff. One of the best character-driven comics around in my opinion - love how the zombies are little more than a back-drop and are a lot less dangerous than half the characters.
A more regular release schedule would be welcomed though.

Thereby hangs a tale...
There once was an Englishman and a German who existed quite contently within the bustling city of Boston. The connection these two men held was a love for graphic literatue. Swapping many books a week, a Walking Dead for a Fables or Human Target, they revelled in the other's great taste in prose.
But then one fateful day the German left, and with him his extensive collection, across the cold Atlantic. The English man was left, with meagre budget, to only gain satisfaction his lone purchases.
The moral of the sad tale: no more Fables, Books of Magic and Human Target for me. Bollocks.
Great comic though

haha, WTF?
Can't wait to use this next time I feel the need to be sarcastic on the forum.

MH, really glad you liked it.
A cool fact for you. The suit that Chris Morris is wearing in the paedophile special when he has the egg thrown at him. I have that suit hanging in my closet. I won it in a random radio competition.
There was actually a series of 6 Brass Eye episodes before the paedophile special you should look for. Like the paedophile special they all have themes and they are Animal Cruelty, Drugs (my personal fave), Science, Sex, Crime, and State of Moral Decline.
Other Chris Morris tv shows you might look out for are 'Jam' and 'The Day Today'. Might be available for download somewhere.
I'm psyched you liked it. Newspapers in the UK got pissed when it was aired. No sense of humour

Yeah, its not perfect. But does have some fairly obscure stuff. Gave me Therapy? as a similar artist to Nirvana, who are an Irish band I wasn't aware anyone in the US had heard of. Pretty cool.
Has asked me to register now. Can you do it and continue using the service without paying, or is it $$ from here on out?
-
This thing is very cool. Looking forward to seeing what it chucks up.

For those who don't think nature has needs...

Damn, if it wasn't for DVD sales probably all we'd get would be Oprah all day long.
Arrested Development is an amazing show and cerianly one of the best U.S. comedies I've ever seen. Fox could use a little balls right now to see past those profit functions.

F*** You binocular vision. It may have taken about half an hour but I did it!!
THE FRAMING GAMEIn order to see 3D your brain has to use the visual information from both eyes. If the two eye views are too different and cannot be matched up, the brain will be forced to make a choice. It will reject all or part of the information from one eye. The brain can suppress or turn off visual information it cannot use. The Framing Game can tell you whether both your eyes are TURNED ON at the same time. The illustration to the left demonstrates what should happen.
* Center your nose over the brown eye below.
* Focus your eyes on the single brown eye.
* Put your free thumb in front of your nose.
* Continue to focus on the eye. If both eyes are on, you will see two thumbs framing one eye.
* Now, switch your focus to your thumb. You should see two eyes framing one thumb.
SUCCESSFUL?
Both your eyes are ON and you are an excellent candidate for 3D viewing fun. Continue with this guide and enjoy!
PROBLEMS?
* Follow the instructions again and pay close attention to where you're focusing your eyes.
* If you wear lenses, try it without them.
* Can't see two thumbs (or two eyes)? Or does one thumb disappear and reappear? Or does one thumb appear faint -- like a ghost image? You may want to consider having a comprehensive eye examination which includes the testing of binocular vision. To locate a vision care professional in your area, consult the Directory of Vision Care Providers
* Don't give up. You don't have to have perfect binocular vision to attempt 3D viewing. Viewing the 3D images at this site can reinforce and strengthen your binocular skills. Learn about how eye doctors use 3D images to improve vision.

Not entirely unrelated:
Has anyone read the Aaron McGruder and Kyle Baker collaboration comic: Birth Of A Nation?
I always thought that would make a quality cartoon movie, Watership Down-stylie.
On The Boondocks cartoon, haven't caught it yet, but hope to soon. Love that Adult Swim. Seeeaaalllaaabbbbb..underneath the water....

2T, sometimes I don't know if you're joking or not.
I mean first you hit us with Barbie Girl and I think ur ripping the piss, then I see Ace of Base and I think, "hey maybe he's serious, that's a quality song", then we get Sisqo for a second time and Celine Dion
Throw me a frikkin' bone here.

I just got #65, think its current...you sure theyre going to 100 tho?
That's what I've heard both from an official website and my local comic shop worker.
As for the trades, I've bought up to issue 42, so got a long way to go. Just read the six short stories for different characters, e.g. Dizzy goes home, Benito gets his initiation, etc.
And while I feel like pretty much got a good idea of Lono, Cole Burns, even Graves at the moment, feel like Shephard is gonna throw me a curveball anytime now.

Trade Paperback # 4 out in about a week. I am so psyched.
Heard there is all sorts of incidents that changes the relationships between characters.
The ending of the 3rd trade with the line "Get out of my house" (or something similar) has left the whole thing on a great cliff-hanger.
While I love 100 Bullets and Battle Royale, this is my true fave at the moment and get the feeling it's barely started.
How about it IC, assuming you've been buying the issues, will I be disappointed?
-
I keep picking up the occasional trade of this. Almost caught up now. Think they are on about issue #66 of 100.
Anyway, just wanted to bump the topic see if it catches anyones eye as I think it's just brilliant and deserves attention.
What I really want to see is if Milo, the bandaged private dick, comes back after his run-in with Lono.
And Dizzy. What's in store for her?

It sucks how I have a habit of discovering someone after they've died so no new material to look forward to. What's that about.
Anyway, glad everyone else has enjoyed his stuff. Nick, if you haven't tried it, you're in for a treat.
The recent CD/DVD is brilliant. Has a great set on the CD and then Comedy Central performances (edited and unedited) on the DVD. Going to watch the Premier Blend one this morning, so not sure how great that'll be, but looking forward to it.

"I have tartar control toothpaste. I still have tartar but that shits under control. If it gets out of line, I'm like, 'cut it out...you crazy ass tartar'".
- Mitch Hedberg.
You want more! Then go to the Culture Section dude!
On an unrelated note:
-
Read about this guy in the Boston Weekly Dig a while back. Basically told me he was a great stand-up comedian who died pretty young form a heart attack earlier this year.
Decided to pick up his latest comedy CD/DVD, "Mitch Hedberg: Mitch All Together" and just can't believe how great he is. Sort of Demetri Martin but more cogent and off-the-wall. He spins one-liners like gun-fire, and when he is on....damn is he on!!
For some CD samples for those interested:
Some choice quotes so you can see what this guy is about:
I want to climb a mountain -- not so I can get to the top -- cause I want to hang out at base camp. That seems fucking fun as shit. You sleep in a colorful tent, you grow a beard, you drink hot chocolate, you walk around... "Hey, you going to the top?" -- "Soon."
I like baked potatoes, man. I don't have a microwave oven; it takes forever to cook a baked potato in a conventional oven. Sometimes I'll just throw one in there, even if I don't want one, because by the time it's done... who knows?...I'll throw a potato in and go on vacation.
I saw a wino; he was eating grapes. I was like, "Dude -- you have to wait!"
I was in downtown Boise, Idaho, and I saw a duck, and I knew the duck was lost, 'cause ducks ain't s'posed to be downtown. There's nothin' for 'em there. So I went to a Subway sandwich shop, I said, "Let me have a bun." But she wouldn't sell me just the bun, she said that I had to have something on it. She told me it's against regulations for Subway to sell just the bun. I guess the two halves ain't supposed to touch. So I said, "Alright, well, put some lettuce on it," which she did. She said, "That'll be $1.75." I said, "It's for a duck." And they said, "All right, well, then it's free." See, I did not know that. Ducks eat for free at Subway! Had I known that, I would have ordered a much larger sandwich. "Let me have the Steak Fajita Sub - but don't bother ringing it up, it's for a duck! There are six ducks out there, and they all want Sun Chips!"
I was at a bar once, and no one was talking to me 'cuz I just did a show, and I ran into a guy, and instead of saying "excuse me" he said "get the hell out of my way," so I said "Go to hell," and I ran away. He caught up to me, he had on a hat, a nose ring, an eybrow ring, a goatee, a tongue ring, and 3-earings. He said "Hey man, you have a lot of nerve," and then I said "Hey man, you have a lot of... cranial accessories." (crowd laughs) You guys are a smart crowd, when I do the dumber crowds, I have to say "Hey man, you have a lot of shit on your head!"
I hate turtlenecks. I have such a weak neck. Plus if you wear a turtleneck it's like being strangled by a really weak guy ... all day. And if you wear a turtleneck and a backpack it's like a weak midget trying to bring you down.
So many to choose from. The guy is the dogs bollocks.
