Yakuza, SEGA's long-running open world series, is unlikely to ever be ported across to Microsoft's Xbox 360.

 

Having started in 2005 on PlayStation 2, the games - headed up by SEGA's Toshihiro Nagoshi - have stayed on Sony hardware, with recent iterations releasing on the PS3.

 

That's likely to stay the case, Nagoshi recently told Eurogamer.

 

"At the beginning of the project we spoke to all the platform holders including Sony and Microsoft," he said, "Every platform holder was negative about this prospect, but we kept on pushing because we believed in the potential, and as we kept going one platform holder that showed interest and saw the prospects of this title was Sony."

Also, if your comp can handle it(I'm hearing about 3.2ghz and up) there's seeting to get it at 30fps and 1080p on dolphin(30 fps is wii speed). Also there's a texture pack if you use a 360 controller on pc to swap all button imgs to that. Thankfully I've got such a long backlog that I'llbe holding off of this for a bit, still not sure if I'll borrow newts and wii it up or do 1080p on dolphin. back to tits(trails in the sky)

in other news, vita dev kits will be around 2k for small devs which is a huge huge things, dev's kits used to cost 20k and up each and even the psp one was 15k. They could also be free and maybe even help budget games from indies/small devs if they publish games exclusive on sony consoles. say they are seeing about 15 pitchs a week.

I'll be honest, I'm most likely gonna pick up that game(though I'll be surprised if it lands this year with what they've said, and the time it's taking for the beta to start.) but I'm almost more excited for torchlight 2, it has the real potential to make the leap diablo 2 did.

Also fuck Blizz for never giving us the real diablo 3....

Also you must be online at all time for D3, there is no offline part of the game even single player and all toons are stored sever side.... bleh, not happy with this set up.

Loved it, was awesome.

Def in my current top3 of comic books movies due to just how right it felt(though having him point out that the A didn't stand for france would have made it #1) really hit it out of the part and has me super ready for Avengers.

Some minor stuff when a charater is standing in water but I had to point it out to george so nothing major yet... outside that seems to run just fine but well see how it goes.

Ok started this one up, but I did it the right way, Dolphin, GC version(fuck righthanded link) and with all kinds of AA and up'd res out the wazhoo, only a bit in but so far it's holding at about 30fps, might play with it a bit ore but it looks nice. Also gamepad ftw!

I do think I will be extending psplus(if I can fund it) the free games is really nice and the cloud storage is as well(and I've no doubt autosyncing from in game is coming)
