I hate the art and the new version of the theme song. I will check it out with my son and maybe it will be better.

I want to try Gloomhaven out. It is about $120 but it is supposed to be really fun. I want to see if I can rope a couple of people I know into it before I thrown down the cash.

I'm drooling over here. I played the shit out of FF7. I would plunk down $100 in a heartbeat.

I bought a new case with a cooling fan based on your recommendation. I spent a little more and bought a neon blue case.
I hope you come down again and we can meet up. You have an infectious energy about you that I really enjoy. It is similar to how you are on the forum. Your posts always make me smile.

It was great to see you when you came down. I'm glad you are enjoying the machine. I haven't played it for more than half an hour straight. Maybe I will have the time this summer when Nicholas is at summer camp.

I think that the Terminator will actually be important to Cameron. It has been a long time since he has been allowed to work on a Terminator story.
I was listening to a woman who worked with Cameron for sometime (I can't remember her name, but she was very close to JC). She said that the Terminator was based on a really strong dream that Cameron had. I tend to take the Alan Moore/Stephen King view of ideas (one sort of pioneered by Plato). People don't control ideas. Ideas control people. I think the Terminator was the strongest idea that Cameron ever had. I think that the idea has a lot more to say now that Cameron is back to tell it's story.

Cameron is going to work on this? I'm actually a little excited now. After T2, all the other movies were horrid, but maybe, just maybe this one will come out well now that Cameron is back.

I read the book some years back. I liked it a lot at the time. I probably won't get around to watching this until the summer.

I oddly read that same piece and I don't normally read much on gaming. Do you happen to have a clean copy of the game that I can add to my Retropie?

Thanks for keeping things rolling, Nick!

again, renewing our license to stay with current software means we'll be agreeing to $50/year to IPB, while our annual hosting/server fees of $162 are already paid in full.
Do we need to raise more cash? If so, please let us know.
A big thanks again to Stilly too.

I can't believe that he died today. I'm shocked.

Whenever we come to a resolution I send myself back in time to start it over again.
I cracked up at this one.
I thought that the Sarah Connor Chronicles was pretty awesome on Fox. I'm still upset that they cancelled that one and I'm rarely upset at cancelled shows.

When I found out about this fight and I read an article where a group of boxing doctors thought McGregor should not be allowed to fight Mayweather, I thought of this film:

I hit the wrong button. I clicked on the Paypal Verified button instead of donate. I just donated $30.

+1 Stilly. Nice work!
Also, I just tried to send you some cash now for the forum, but it didn't work. Perhaps you could fix the links, NZA?

So when you met Al Lewis was he doing his weird southerner schtick? My understanding is that for a period of his life he began dressing like a rich Texan and affecting a Southern accent for no apparent reason. He was a weird guy.
I don't remember him having a Southern accent. The restaurant was Italian. I think it was called Grandpa's. It was 30 years ago though.

Great pictures. Thanks, Nemo.

I remember meeting the original Grandpa Munster as a kid of 6 or 7. He owned a restaurant in the northeast and smoked cigars. He signed a picture for me. I wish I still had that picture.

I'm up for either option 1 or 4. I'm down to throw in at least $25.

I loaded it up with NES games. I have only put 25 SNES games on it since Lissette is worried that Nicholas will be overwhelmed. I put hundreds of NES games on it before she said something.
A big thanks to NZA for giving me his large collection.

After putting together the first machine, I think I could put it together in about 45 minutes, maybe less since I have all the software now. I am still up for putting a machine together for you, Little Nemo.

It works! I downloaded Turtles in Time and played for a little while with my son Nicholas. I will hopefully get those ROMs from the NZA soon.
I screwed up again once I got my Raspberry Pi 3 B. I broke my first mini-SD card and I had to buy another one. Oh well, at least I learned a lot from making this first machine and can make it again.
-
Yep. I bought the controllers and they are sitting here waiting for the machine. The controllers cost more than the RP3.

I ate so many Cheez Balls. As of July 1st, Cheez Balls are back!
I'm not sure that I could eat another now that I am an adult and I control my own food shopping. I am oddly enticed and grossed out all at the same time.
