I'm 2 eps in also. The spirit of 2 pac absolutely made me lose my shit.

I'm not particularly excited for this, with how GoT ended, but I think given the level of worldbuilding that will go on for this, I'm definitely going to give it a watch.

I've one of these on order (q3 likely) but I've heard the battery life is not amazing on them. Any first hand experience on that Stilly?

I'm all up on the xbox play. Any time I've tried so far though the servers are down for any multiplayer.

I think I need to git gud, something I struggled with massively in the dark souls games.

That first boss in the pond looking thing during the tutorial keeps fucking destroying me. I went for Prisoner class based entirely on the helmet.

I'm still impressed at how well put together the finale is/was considering it could have very easily gone off the tracks and been a bit underwhelming/silly and doing a disservice to the seasons of excellent work that had gone before it.

A genuinely great article to read over and its making me want to re-watch the series.

On a tangential note, this is one of the best CCH Pounder impersonations I've ever come across:

I'm two episodes in and am enjoying it. There are some "Omg ugh why are you doing that" moments, but I think that's a natural occurrence within the genre. There's also a little bit of schlocky editing/style that was there for Squid games, so I'm guessing its just a televisual culture thing I'm not wholly used to.

We had this phenomenal Mauritian place where I'm living that went under just before Christmas just gone. We'd supported them regularly enough during lockdown, but they were sadly quite niche before the pandemic and I think that while they did adjust things a bit during the last 2 years, they were sadly always fighting a losing battle.

The really fucking sad thing over here in Dublin, there's a restaurant group that has been feasting off of places closing down by buying up the vacant store and continuing the monster that they are.

Jokes aside, probably the best ending that could have been done with an extremely uneven season.

Two years on, fuck you. The ending was bad and you should feel bad for saying that.

I'm with Eamonn a bit. D&D wanted to move on to the star wars project they had lined up and end GoT (Despite HBO offering them more time and budget to do so) and it shat all over several years of good work by the cast and crew and good faith the fans had offered the show quite badly. 

I guess they kinda forgot what a decent conclusion looks like.

I'm tentatively excited to watch this. The cast look sensational across the board in it and like Nick said, if its as good as or slightly better than black widow, I'll be happy with that.

What we all really want though is a standalone Korg film.

Based on the previous 2 Spiderman films and the trailer. I'm stoked as fuck to see this. 

I think Arrested Development relaunches are a playbook on what not to do for this.

And as much of a bummer as it is that Lizzy Kaplan isn't on for this, getting Jane Lynch back in the fold makes up for it a bit I think. I think her not being there might actually be some good humour fodder though as to why Adam Scott's character is still doing the same thing 10 years on.

So yeah, holy shit this could be amazing. Its one of the handful of comic books I've re-read due to there being so much going on in it.

Oh sadness. I was waiting for the series to finish out and binge it all.

From the looks of it, HBO Max are sniffing around to pick it up. So fingers crossed.

Many months later. I really enjoyed this after the weird as fuck first few episodes. Kathryn Hahn fully stole the show for me though.

I think in terms of pop culture impact, Pulp Fiction is the clear winner. The other 2 have had definite impacts on the 25 years that have followed it, but there's been so many nods, references and influences from Pulp Fiction its crazy. 

That said, I think Shawshank is the best film of the 3 for my money, but its bloody close.

I'd be willing to join a member group of these interests.

I don't understand why Nick doesn't have "Big Nick Energy" as his though.

I've watched a few eps of this. I really like it. Its a bit more hit than miss in terms of the sketch show ratio.
