  1. Oh sadness. I was waiting for the series to finish out and binge it all. From the looks of it, HBO Max are sniffing around to pick it up. So fingers crossed.
  2. Many months later. I really enjoyed this after the weird as fuck first few episodes. Kathryn Hahn fully stole the show for me though.
  3. I think in terms of pop culture impact, Pulp Fiction is the clear winner. The other 2 have had definite impacts on the 25 years that have followed it, but there's been so many nods, references and influences from Pulp Fiction its crazy. That said, I think Shawshank is the best film of the 3 for my money, but its bloody close.
  4. I'd be willing to join a member group of these interests.
  5. I still stand by mine if I'm being honest. I don't understand why Nick doesn't have "Big Nick Energy" as his though.
  6. I've watched a few eps of this. I really like it. Its a bit more hit than miss in terms of the sketch show ratio. Everything's a drum!
  7. The Raid vs Dredd is a favourite so far. Excellent work man, and the pixel art is savage.
  8. Tame Impala are pretty awesome. If you're looking for something that blends psych/funk/rock together, Khruangbin are probably my band of the year so far.
  9. I'm getting an odd thread summary box in the top right of any given thread I'm in. I'm unsure how I feel about this at this stage of my life.
  10. And to update. How the fuck did Endgame even happen logistically (other than y'know, money). So many incredibly high profile names. Stunning conclusion to a mostly excellent glut of films. Finger clickin' good. Looking forward to what Phase 4 has to offer, Eternals has my attention big time.
  11. So, having only seen GOTG 1 & 2, Black Panther and Ant Man pre Covid, I've been watching through these again in chronological order. Highlights have been Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Ant Man, Spiderman: Homecoming and pretty much any of the Avengers films have rocked, with Ragnarok being one of the funnier films I've seen in a while. Korg needs his own film. Low-lights have been the first Captain America film and sadly Black Panther (both times I've seen it now) didn't really hold my attention at all. I've only got Captain Marvel, Endgam
  12. https://techcrunch.com/2020/07/02/westworld-fallout-amazon/ Reference for credibility. I have initial excitement, but its seeping more towards scepticism about how this will be done as lots of Video Game to Screen adaptations have been based around something with a set enough story, whereas fallout is extremely sandbox with a lot of theme rather than being too story heavy. It could work in the favour with the volume of creative freedom also as the Westworld folks did a phenomenal job setting up the Westworld world, it just ran out of steam (in my opinion) as it moved be
