Were, Thanos nuked Phyla-Vell(she was never Captain Marvel it WAS Martyr) in GotG 24. Moondragon confirmed her death in #25, but with Marvel that dosen't mean much.

Michael Jai White as Jax? Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade? Baraka and Reptile as homicidal maniacs? This footage from what looks to be the next Mortal Kombat game or movie trailer is brutal, disgusting, and perfect.

 

Reader Kev directed us to this video, featuring a realistic new take on the Mortal Kombat franchise that has more in common with movies like suspense and horror films like Seven and Saw than anything resembling the campy video game to film adaptations we've seen in the past.

looking at this thread again though, its almost not right how much more exciting i find Secret Avengers than the regular new book.

Not really. Secret Avengers has probably the best roster of the bunch (Moon Knight, War Machine, Beast, Nova, etc.) The regular Avengers have Thor... that's about it. Also Avengers #1: It's your kids Marty! Something's gotta be done about your kids!

Killer7 - This was one of capcoms best sleeper hits (along with God Hand). Replaying the 2nd level and I LOVE the scene where a chef shoots MASK out of panic and MASK de Smith headbutts the bullet out of mid-air then grenades the HeavenSmile behind the chef.

Darksiders - I started this months ago and then sat it down and just flat out forgot about it. Which isn't to say I don't like it, I love the Legacy of Kain style gameplay and Joe Mad's art style. A Battle Chasers game (RPG would suit it best) would own.

Props to Axl for mentioning The Suffering. That's still one of my all time favorite horror games and the first one to freak me out. (playing at night, no lights during a wind storm)

Actually Thanos might turn out to be the good guy in this. The Magus w/ the H.P. Lovecraft fault in space and time and Maelstrom w/ Oblivion in the background are WAY bigger threats. Check out the War of Kings and Realm of Kings stories. Serious shit been happening in outer space.
