The main description that I see thrown around is Game of Thrones meets Kamandi. It's full of a bunch of awesome crazy shit and the first issue does an excellent job of building the world in a few short pages. Definitely worth a lookse. Very entertaining stuff here. It's hard not to see Kamandi in it, at least as some base childhood inspiration. Not a bad thing. As someone who only relatively recently went all in and binged on Astro City, I'm glad to see Busiek doing something else that he seems excited about.
