Keth Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 http://spinoff.comic...-for-paramount/ Paramount Pictures has lined up “Napoleon Dynamite” director Jared Hess to helm “NickToons,” an animated movie featuring some of Nickelodeon’s signature characters. Deadline characterizes the film as “Paramount’s answer to ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit,'” bringing together a who’s who of characters from such shows as “Rugrats,” “Rocko’s Modern Life,” “The Angry Beavers” and “Ren & Stimpy” for a single original narrative. Nickelodeon has vast library, so there are plenty of series to choose from. Hess will also write the film with his wife and longtime collaborator Jarusha Hess, based on an idea by Ali Mendes of producer Disruption Entertainment. Quote
Little Nemo McFly Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Hell, yeah - what a great idea. I think the closest we've ever seen anything like that was in those Nicktoons Racing / Party Blast games. Some games had different / more characters than others - but if they're gonna do a full-on feature-length movie w/ their full roster...that's a cinematic event. Do it. Do it. Do it. Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 So, who y'all got fighting it out on the dueling pianos? Quote
Little Nemo McFly Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Explosive-temper characters: Ren and Invader Zim!...but I don't see anyone of 'em playing a piano. Quote
