Adam West / 60s TV Batman - RIP

Recommended Posts

Adam West totally deserves a thread on Hondos.

Best known for his iconic role of 'Batman' on the 1960s tv series - the actor later lent his imitable voice to several cartoon shows over the decades. Died aged 88 - a man who seemingly embraced the 'absurdity of it all'. RIP

Crazy - how just yesterday, I was having a conversation about how the 60s Batman show is on blu - but not George Reeves / 50s Superman or the 40s Bats n' Supes film serials. Now I really want the 60s show on blu.

Thanks for the fun n' joy, Mr. West. Will be missed.

So I actually went to this. Friend and I were driving around town looking for something to do for our last night in LA. She got a random text about it and we made it to city hall about 20 minutes before it started.

Incredible energy and SOOO many people. It was awesome to be there. Also, the mayor of LA seems like a really cool guy!!
