Best known for his iconic role of 'Batman' on the 1960s tv series - the actor later lent his imitable voice to several cartoon shows over the decades. Died aged 88 - a man who seemingly embraced the 'absurdity of it all'. RIP Crazy - how just yesterday, I was having a conversation about how the 60s Batman show is on blu - but not George Reeves / 50s Superman or the 40s Bats n' Supes film serials. She got a random text about it and we made it to city hall about 20 minutes before it started. Incredible energy and SOOO many people. It was awesome to be there.
