Keth Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (taking place after a series of novels written by Hitchhiker's Guide's Douglas Adams) follows the title character and his reluctant assistant Todd as they try to crack a case of murder, body swapping and just general bizarreness. I'm two episodes in and I'm in love with this show. It's moves so damn fast, with so much going on, but it's never boring or dull. The characters are great (especially Dirk's dark counterpart, the holistic assassin). It's on hulu right now and only 8 eps long. There is a season two coming (or airing I'm not entirely sure right now). Anyone else check this out? Quote
Lipala Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Yep! Watched it as it was coming out. It's fantastic and does Douglas Adams proud Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 I've been seeing the advertisements for the second season and have been curious. I might give it a try now. Quote
Da Cap'n 2099 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 I've seen two episodes of the first season and I'm intrigued. It's written by Max Landis, so I should be weary, but it feels very different. Like a breath of fresh air. Will give it a shot. Quote
Keth Posted September 27, 2017 Author Posted September 27, 2017 Yeah, I know your feelings on Landis, but the show is good. Alot of fun and really crazy and different. Keep goin! Quote
