Signal08 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I read somewhere a good while ago, that COPS the show was making a game. Where you chase bad guys and do car chases in cities n stuff... This was a good long time ago and I can't find jack on it now... anyone ever heard the same?
Acalis Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 That would be an interesting premise for a game. Could be kinda like the opposite of GTA, where instead of playing the bad guys beating up on cops, you play the cops arresting (and maybe even beating up) on the bad guys.
Signal08 Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 Well it was prolly a good year or so ago that I heard about the cops game being made, but it was very detailed. They went as far as to let you pick the color of your uniform like LAPD navy or Reno tan or county green. You could drive a to life scale crown vic, lumina, or tahoe. You could even be a bicycle cop or motorcycle cop. You could go into foot pursuit of guys running from you, vehicle pursuit. But what I read that made me cream myself, was that you could do random traffic stops on speeders and red light runners. Cars actually pull out of your way when you are running with lights and sirens, you even got dispatched to shootings in progress and stuff. It was like totally realistic. BUUUUUT I aint seen shite on it since.
