I'm working on an article about the genealogy of video games, starting with "Sweet Home" through the new DMC. I figured if anyone would have an answer to my question it would be Hondos: From what I understand, Chaos Legion started as a failed DMC project that got turned into CL but I need some kind of citation for this, anyone have any clue? Yeah I'm familiar with the novels but capcom tried to market it as some kind of cousin to DMC and all that, which it obviously was not. The engine however does feel like a DMC engine modified.
