Reverend Jax Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 OK, so I went into this kinda expecting to be let down. The commercials made it look like it would have funny moments, but not be a good overall film. Dinsey has not put out alot of good stuff in the past few years and Pixar is miles ahead in the CGI department. Well, this film was pretty good, if your a fan of the animated stuff and enjoy movies made for kids (I'm looking at SB). I'm a sucker for time traveling movies and a bigger sucker for science-loving kids as movie heroes. The humor is fast paced and while the emotional connection isn't as strong as Disney's best, it's certainly there, unlike in crap like Shark Tale and Madagascar. And the evil not-so-genius character was both cliched and a clever twist. Good stuff.
Jables Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I Cosign that review. I went & saw this as an indulgence to Alana for her birf & ended up loving it.
Ganny McVagflaps Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 That better've been 'cause there was some Scott Robinson action in there.... I didn't think much of this, but I may check it out at the very least on DVD. Cheers for the heads up, maybe I can get some anal out of this.
Jables Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Yup. Nothing says "I'm cute & sensitive so let me put it in your shitter" like a disney flick. I have the little mermaid to thank for every one of my brown adventures.
