Caught this with some coworkers this weekend and I loved it. I've never read the book and can only compare it to the original movie. I like the changes they made for the most part. But I wasnt too big on the ending. The alt they shot that I read about sounded alot cooler. All in all though this was solid and a really crazy ride. Props to the cat that played Church. Best actor in the movie.

Pineda will play Faye Valentine, described as a bold, brash and unpredictable bounty hunter. Suffering from amnesia after years of being cryogenically frozen, Faye does whatever it takes to survive. Whether she’s lying, stealing, or just being a thorn in Spike and Jet’s side.

Pineda’s previous credits include “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” “The Detour,” and “Inside Amy Schumer.” She is repped by UTA, Kirsten Ames Management, and Schreck Rose.

Hassell will play Vicious. Described as a man who thoroughly enjoys a good kill, Vicious is the Syndicate’s most notorious hitman. He’s also Spike Spiegel’s ex-partner and arch-enemy.

Hassell will appear in the upcoming Amazon series “The Boys.” His previous credits include “The Bisexual” and “Genius” Season 2. He is repped by Gersh, United Agents in the U.K., and Magnolia Entertainment.

Radical Ed will also appear in the series, but the casting process for that character is ongoing.

Netflix picked up “Cowboy Bebop” for 10 episodes back in November. The series is described as the jazz-inspired, genre-bending story of Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, Faye Valentine and Radical Ed, a rag-tag crew of bounty hunters on the run from their pasts as they hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll even save the world for the right price.

Shinichiro Watanabe, director of the original anime, will serve as a consultant on the project. Christopher Yost, who previously penned “Thor: The Dark World” and “Thor: Ragnarok”, will write the first episode and executive produce. Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio will serve as executive producers. Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise Inc.– the studio behind the original series–will also executive produce along with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, and Matthew Weinberg. The series is a co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, with Netflix handling physical production.

I need to go and read those Thor lead ups, but man I picked up the first issue of this and shit is FUUUUN. I really need to read more Jason Aaron stuff in general. 

I would have loved to see something more in the vein of Azzarello's Joker. Where he is already established and dangerous. Batman is lurking off screen in some scenes hidden away. Making it from someone else's perspective as to not make The Joker seem like a hero.

Ialso hate the idea of Bruce Wayne being a child when Joker becomes Joker (the kid he is making smile in the trailer is apparently Bruce.)

So this is my general timeline of my Soulsborne experience.

Demon's Souls: fuck this game. Why would anyone think this is fun?

Dark souls: Ok fuck this game too, but I see its merit.

Bloodborne: Now were talkin. Sick ass horror vibe. Still hard as fuck. Wont finish, but I can dig it.

Sekiro: This game is amazing and I am having a blast getting murdered. 

Honestly Im having an easier time here than any of the previous games. I say easier, Im adapting easier I should say.

Hoo boy was this the most mismarketed movie ever. Granted I loved it. But man, I totally understand that people are gonna come out absolutely HATING it. I feel like Peele was straight trolling everyone with this one. 

I cant watch that yet, but I'm in the middle of season 3. Which I gotta say is quite eye-popping. 

Right? I'm really hoping for another collection. I didnt think there were any real duds in the whole thing. Some were better than others of course, but I really enjoyed them all. Standouts for me were Sonnie's Edge and Beyond the Aquila Rift. 

Yall gotta check this out. There is something here for everyone.

Honestly thats probably true. Even someone at work took time to ask if I was watching this and mentioned the 2 parter. Between you guys and my coworker, imma start watching this show now.
