I haven't seen any of the trailers expect for the small girl who goes apeshit on the cashier...but firstly, when is this supposed to take place? Logan looks old...so how far or not far into the future is this? Is he not effectively immortal or is the imagined future that dull? Moving right along...I'm kinda disappointed with the current state of Logan's character. I miss the gruff, rough growly fellow from the Xmen movies. He's gotten kinda...soft. But this look like it might be a return to that gruffness.

If you ever go to jail, please remember that not all the jailers are sadistic. Not all of us judge you. Some of us really do try to treat you like human beings. Please don't abuse them because you are unhappy.

Come to think of it, I'm surprised the haven't done it already. Lord knows Nascar is plastered with sponsorship logos and even Little League jerseys have sponsor logos on them.

It's meant to be humorous in a sad, dark way... I find that to be tacky, considering the subject matter, considering the history, and considering any other numerous factors. But that's an opinion. I find lots of things tacky. Boots with shorts, for instance. And I'm not advocating censorship in any form. Ever. If it finds an audience, great. I'm simply stating another of my opinions. I think the intended humor might keep it from from being effective.

I do have to ask though, when is it ok for a white person to express dismay about an attack on their ethnicity? That's not meant to be a dig, inflammatory, or sarcastic. I'm genuinely curious. I don't really care who makes fun of who. Everyone's a jerk anyway. And just to clarify, I don't think the film or this show is attacking white people. This question is merely a tangent.

I'm not saying that progress doesn't need to be made, and I'm not saying the show doesn't need to be made either. I'm saying that perhaps the tone of this show isn't what's needed. It comes across as sarcasm and snark. Frankly, I'm done with that. I want to have a real conversation about things. Even anger is preferable to condescension.

There were a lot of pop culture and history references that were above the heads of smaller children. Especially all the movie parodies.

Sigh. I'm sure this is meant to be honest in a funny way and it's definitely timely, but am I the only person who feels that perhaps it's a bit much at this point?

Well....if it smells like chlorine, then there's prolly too much in it. You might call up the Bedford water depatment and mention that. Otherwise, a little chlorine doesn't really hurt you. It's a fairly common agent for keeping water clean. Iodine can be used as well. Handy fact if you ever need to drink from a mud puddle, I guess.

Tap water all the way. I'm all about the flouride, yo. Also, that shit is cheaper than bottled. And I rarely ice it. I do not care about ice in any of my drinks and I will even drink warm soda and warm beer. I admit, I will buy bottled water when I'm out though. I'm thirsty and its a lot more handy than trying to dearh out a bathroom or a water fountain, though I've been known to do that in my poor ass cracker days.
