souljah boy's trying to step up past gimmick/ringtone shit (i dont keep up with the dude, didnt even recognize the tattoos), 50 likes making money. i mean, talib does tracks with gucci mane now, so you know i can't say shit. for real though, whenever we talk about who would or wouldn't work with who (i feel confident saying biggie would've cut tracks with 50, pac probably with Nas after squashing shit, etc...and busta fucks with everybody), again i cant say much of anything.

 

i mean - not to threadjack your shit - but how does this (rae + ye + bieber) even work? i dont know, but it's a good track, no matter how i feel about the kid on the hook!

like most, 50 gets with R&B tracks, but honestly, i'm surprised i dont see him on more crossover shit. he's prolly been on some pop stuff i cant recall at the moment...but yeah, your link's not a bad track, even if souljah just makes me wanna go listen/laugh at lil B more.

bwahaha, nothing's sacred! and yeah, that rae/bieber track is weird, and you're right that its prolly mostly the beat, but rae's verse i dug (even if its a b-side that ive heard on at least one other song), ye had fun too. honestly, that song should've been way worse than it ended up.

Off G-Unit's last album. 50 and Banks ride as usual, but Yayo has an uncharacteristicly decent verse (never been a Yayo fan). Maybe Banks wrote his shit. Never know.

takin' this thread back to '03 when 50 was one of the rawest i'd heard in a while:

to this day, the only real complaint i have on Blood in the Sand is the lack of this track. I laughed when i read it was Stephen King's favorite, so weird.

another hard-ass track outta nowhere - gangsta rap went outta style a while back, so its funny; mid to late 90s i was tired of it; now? shit this hard is refreshing:

honestly, i know he got handed some of the best production out there, but he didn't squander it. i still got love for fif for this album, i bumped Until I Self Destruct on your say-so (panch) and dug at least half of it, way more than i have any album since...here's to his next!

Until I Self Destruct is my favorite of his four (Shady/Aftermath) records. With Get Rich a close second. I mean, Get Rich is perfect. An instant classic. A fitting intro to 50. That album he sounded raw. Hungry! The Massacre was a sophomore slump of sorts (I still love it) and Curtis was dialed in (still love it). Self Destruct he just sat down and said fuck the public, I'm making gangsta shit again. Still raw like Get Rich, but he ain't hungry anymore. He's rich and arrogant. It's evolved.

Rapper 50 Cent made $8.7 million yesterday -- by tweeting.

 

The 35-year-old celeb, aka Curtis Jackson, helped pop the shares of a no-name penny stock company he's invested in by 290 percent yesterday after chatting it up this weekend on Twitter, the social-networking site.

 

"You can double your money right now. Just get what you can afford," Jackson tweeted about H&H Imports, a money-losing venture out of Clearwater, Fla., that owns TV Goods, a marketing firm recently founded by Kevin Harrington.

 

Harrington is best known for his role on ABC's reality show "Shark Tank," which lets entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to potential backers.

 

"They are no joke get in now," Jackson told his 3.8 million Twitter followers about TV Goods, which Harrington founded in 2009. It merged with H&H in May.

 

Jackson received 30 million shares of H&H in a private placement last October, including a series of warrants granting him the opportunity to cash in as the stock rises: at 15 cents, 25 cents or -- no kidding -- 50 cents.

 

For some of the warrants, he only has to put up 10 cents a share, according to a recent regulatory filing.

 

Earlier this month, Jackson also "personally endorsed" a line of mobile audio products TV Goods had gained marketing rights to that are made by another Florida company, Sleek Audio, H&H said. Jackson talked up the headphones when he appeared on TV last week from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

 

Jackson's reps didn't return a request for comment.

 

Of course, Jackson's hype won't fix the cash-flow problems at H&H. The company lost $1.3 million last quarter on revenues of just $292,933. As of Sept. 30, the company has accumulated a deficit of $3.3 million and in March its auditor raised questions about its ability "to continue as a going concern," the company has said in financial documents.

 

H&H closed at 39 cents yesterday, up 29 cents, boosting Jackson's 30 million-share stake by $8.7 million.
