Reverend Jax
Well, I saw Star Trek Nemesis today. Was OK, but I don't feel like writing a review since, basically, it's not that the kind of movie that's so complex that needs critical decryption. If it looked cool to you, go see it and you'll like it, if not, don't. If you're some sort of anti-star trek loser, get over yourself. I'm no trekkie, but I'm not so afraid of becoming one that I won't go see some of the movies when they come out every few years or watch the show when I come across it channel surfing. Whatever, if you have trekkiphobia (cough*sponge*cough*bob*cough) my yakking won't convince you, and frankly, it ain't worth the energy. Silent Bob
Does it at least live up to the even/odd curse?
Reverend Jax
I haven't seen insurrection, but I would say yes. Not as good as first contact, but at least as good as undiscovered country.
Silent Bob
Trust me, Insurrection follows the rule, too.
soldier of fortune
Went to the advance screening over here (Doesn't release til January) and i thought it was pretty cool, good action, decent if shocking story, i liked it, and my girlfriend liked it, and she hates Star Trek, so it gets my thumbs up!! :approve: Â SB, it goes with the rule!! Reverend Jax
Wow, most people notice the even odd curse by #6. Think they're just doing it on purpose now?
Silent Bob
Lol, I think they started doing it on purpose back when Kirk met God in Final Frontier. Well, actually, maybe they're not really doing it on purpose. They probably just go into the movie thinking "oh, this one's gonna suck anyway" so they don't put much effort into it. Reverend Jax
But they're different directors writters and producers every time. Aren't Hollywood directors producers and writers supposed to be ambious? They're supposed to have attitudes like "hey, I can make an odd star trek movie good!" Or am i delusional?
