IceManML
Does everything have to be an mmo? I'm assuming that's hat he meant by "massive rpg "... The e3 trailer still has me hype tho
The NZA
MMO's are kinda F2P now, and i definitely don't see this as one, fortunately...what am i missing here
Keth
It's just a big RPG. This is a single player series for sure. Gameplay looks similar to the first one which was similar to FF12. If you have 60 bucks and don't mind using that on a last gen game, then the first Xenoblade Chronicles is totally worth it. Otherwise... wii's are moddable y'know. And in Japanese. Good shit happens around the 15 minutes mark. I just kinda click through in 5 minutes increments though. It looks like it's just a bunch of running around so far... but with it look that nice I'm fine with that.

Keth
I don't mind games that don't hold your hand, but this is ridiculous. Still having a blast, but I may actually need to pick up the strategy guide for this one.
The NZA
yeah? are you lost on where to go next, or mechanics or what?
Keth
A little on both, heh. Collection quests are basically luck driven and there are just abunch of complexities with combat. Plus the online component still has a bunch of stuff i havent discovered. It's robust to say the least.
Keth
God I love this game. I really hope the franchise sticks around for a good long while. The moment you get your Skell is pure joy and that's heightened even more when they gain the ability to fly. Plus the music is so damn awesome and cheesy. Stick around til the :50 mark for some god awful amazing lyrics. NZA if you like Pumpkin Hill Zone you're in for a treat.
The NZA
okay so i don't need any more games and i'm broke and i haven't even played the last one in this series yet BUT BUT BUTTS it - along with Bayonetta 2 (solo), Hyrule Warriors & a few others are marked down to $18! i can't say no to sub $20 prices, especially since you can imagine this one being hard to find down the road. if you're interested in any of those while Target is dumping em, this site is very helpful! i used this post for the #'s. this was the last copy they had at mine, and Hyrule Warriors was already gone! NES Remix was there, which is a lotta fun for that price too.
Keth
Ha I actually just traded mine in! Fantastic fucking game, but my god is it massive. I poured over 60 hours into it and have no regrets. PS Xenoblade 1 is on the WiiU shop for 20 bucks too!
The NZA
^that's a good price! i copped the Wii version during the initial run when someone sold a used copy for about that price years ago, no art book but it's in great shape. so very many rainy-day JRPG's~
