Keth Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 So I've been looking into capturing some gameplay from my PC and doing some youtubey stuff (hopefully less annoying). I have Shadowplay with my Nvidia card that's attached to my laptop (it's a fine laptop, don't start), but for some reason the notebook version lacks the desktop capture option that desktop comps have. Basically I'm trying to capture some emulator games, starting off with some easy stuff. Anybody know of good capture software that can achieve this goal? Eventually I'd like to get a capture card for my consoles, but until then I'm gonna go with some older stuff I can easily play on here. Quote
The NZA Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 i have a few buddies who capture for YT stuff - older systems, i'm told s-video is the easiest, since you're using digital stuff (presumably via HDMI) i figure this shouldn't be too hard. Quote
Visitant Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) We use OBS for all in PC gaming streaming, and for external things (consoles) we use https://www.elgato.c...me-capture-hd60 with OBS which was a donation to our show from a fan. Edited June 17, 2016 by Bindusara Quote
