The NZA Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 tied up season 1 and man, this show got the book down perfect & pulled no punches. it'd been years since i read the first arc or two, but the stuff they deviated on, seemed for the better - literally cannot wait for future seasons (fortunately in the works) and hopefully a game at some point too! I remember loving the comic (though I never finished it, got up to #100 or so) but after being floored by how good the series was I was a little disappointed at how flat it felt. Now I've only reread the first arc and a half and I remember not being taken by the first arc back in the day as well. But the show just has way more character depth so far, while retaining all of it's mind boggling savagery.
