Jont Posted February 17, 2005 Author Share Posted February 17, 2005 And speaking of backwater countries, in this case, um, Ireland there's this: The Swastika Laundry in Dublin (1912-1989) used the Nazi-associated image on its delivery vans, depot and chimney throughout the second World War and after in "possibly the sole benign public display in Europe of the symbol". My Dad told me about this. At first I thought it was his memory degrading with old age but some quick research and it turns out they actualy existed. The lasted untill 1989!
