The NZA Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 Years ago, i went to the 4th rail for excellent comic reviews - id very rarely feel they were off the mark, and they introduced me to a number of new books. This one, that i finally got around to reading years after they closed up shop, is like a parting gift. Andrew Boyd & Ryan Yount only managed 5 issues, and they were excellent. The abstract humor reminds me of Scud: The Disposable Assassin and a bit've The Tick, but honestly, you've just gotta read it. Here's a small preview of issue # 2, right after Blackbeard killed some guy for something or other, and before the barfight with the monkeys. I'm only sad it didnt feature the secret Menudo origin of Jefe. Look, i just picked up a copy off of amazon for less than $3.50 for the whole run, and there's several others for that price.
