  1.

I had more of an issue with the delivery of the reveal rather than their decision to do it. It goes down pretty much line for line as it did in the book, though in the book it happens at the House on the Rock. The clues are all there, and while I'm sure you knew from the drop who Mr. Wednesday was, I'm sure there are many other viewers who had no clue (Ana was convinced he was the devil for most of the series).

I mean, to me they totally let the cat out of the bag at the police station when the new gods make their offer to Wednesday (not in the book). The rocket had 'ODIN' on the side in letters 30 feet high (I think that's where Ana had her 'Oh' moment), but I guess Shadow didn't pick up on it, so we still need to get the information across to him in appropriate manner. My issue was the ramping up to and delivery of ODIIIIIIN were a little flat and cringy.

  2. So I actually went to this. Friend and I were driving around town looking for something to do for our last night in LA. She got a random text about it and we made it to city hall about 20 minutes before it started.

Incredible energy and SOOO many people. It was awesome to be there. Also, the mayor of LA seems like a really cool guy!!

  3. Neither of these places were on the list, but here's a few great burger places I ate at in my recent travels:

I was all ready to road trip for a cheeseburger! There are a few in Georgia though!

When I was in Atlanta earlier this year I ate at a local chain called Grindhouse Killer Burgers. It was pretty awesome. Had a 'Yankee Style' burger, which had thick cut bacon, bleu cheese and grilled onions, along with a local craft beer and a side of sweet potato kettle chips.

Then, when I was at a conference earlier this month, I ate at the Abby Burger Bistro, a local chain in Baltimore. They had a bunch of wild house burgers and the most extensive build-a-burger options I've ever seen! Ostrich burger with peanut butter on a English muffin? Coming right up! Alligator patty on a brioche bun topped with fried green tomatoes and peach salsa? Right away! Plus they have a list of special 'meats of the month' that are even more exotic/bizarre. One of the specials while I was there was New Zealand Reindeer (I chickened out cause I had NO idea what to top that with)! Ended up getting a bison patty with avocado and bacon, topped with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese chunks on a toasted pretzel bun with waffle fries. Bliss. I'm looking for any excuse to go back to Baltimore just so I can go there again!

  4. ...just wish the XB1 and switch stretch goals would switch, haha.

Someone must have heard you. They pulled the Stretch Goals and are currently reworking them specifically to re-prioritize the Switch stretch goal.

  5. Fuuuuuuuuck. Keiichi Yano AND Masaya Matsuura Rhythm game kickstarter?? Parappa is classic, but I looooooved Gitaroo Man back in the day.

Man, I wanna throw in, but I feel like I need to atone for helping bring Mighty No. 9 into the world.

I backed both Bloodstained and TJ&E: Back in the Groove (my DREAM) and they both look promising, but who knows what the final product will be like. I didn't back Yooka-Laylee but I've heard mixed things....

  6. OST of the fucking century

I know they've been all over the place with actually getting stuff out, but iam8bit has a 4 LP vinyl set up for preorder, and a Deluxe 6 LP set with the complete OST.
