Newt, do you every change your sheets? I remember the employee at the card shop decades ago telling me you should change them every so many years. Mine have been in binders for that whole time. I kinda afraid that I'll try to take them out and they'll be fused with the plastic!

Sweeeeet...totally getting this.
Are you a big Little Nemo fan, Nemo?

I dont know man, 3DS is fantastic, especially if you throw in the DS library of games! Plus, it doesn't seem as portible as a standard handheld. Something tells me this isnt going to completely eclipse Nintendos handheld market, and they'll probably be a separate New 3DS successor to fill that gap.

Fuck. Yes.

Initial reviews for Dr. Strange are in and they're saying it's Iron Man 1 meets Inception. Holy shit!
That's some damn high praise! Can't wait!!

I'm just glad Corey Haim isn't alive to see this.

Man, the P'Zone. I'll always remember it as the last I saw of Tommy Davidson.

I had watched the pilot a couple of months ago and dug it, but I hadn't realized it was out already. Strangely, Xfinity on demand had episode 1 (the pilot I had seen) and episode 3 (hot sauce episode), but no ep 2!
I like it much more than I probably should!

Hmmm, I actually may be in Austin for work sometime between now and the end of the year!

So the question is which game will show up 1st:
FFXIII VS or TLG
Man, it looks like it's going to be a photo finish....

Mine was Willy Wonka. His version of Wonka was far and away the best.
I'd go so far as to say "the only".

Saw Dont Breathe today. Jump scare city, but done really fucking well! Scott Lang is intimidating as hell.
Oh shit, Ant-man is in that movie???

Isolation does strange, strange things to people...

Keanu or gtfo

Nope. Science, ma'man. Science. Re-animated corpse/person through biological means/control. Disease or drugs. Not magic. Not possession. Not demons. Science.
But, but magic is just science we don't yet understand.

Man, that Snake Eater Panchinko machine is looking sooo much better now...

I think it's pretty safe to say that the movie is going to differ GREATLY from the source material. At most, it will be inspired by OML, in that in both, Wolverine will be an old(er) man. I honestly can't see how they could include anything else.

Sooooo, anyone actually playing this?

...Or "The Word-For-Word Conversation Spacecowboy And I Had Earlier Today" review.
I almost fell asleep on the road back from Deerfield last night, so I didn't watch this until this morning, but I thought the exact same thing! Almost word for word! I was annoyed that they both kept complaining about Harley's cellphone. They completely missed the handover from Ike Barinholtz, but then that was probably due to the horrible editing.
"Oh, the metahumanity"

Those "wings" look impractical as hell.
"Practical" is not a word I would use to describe an old man dressed as a giant green bird.

Did not like.
I understand the necessity to add padding to make an adaptation of The Killing Joke feature length. I even think I understand what they were trying to go for with the first 30 minutes. I imagine they felt the need to add all that for the sake of casual viewers who might not be familiar with Barbara, so that her part in The Killing Joke proper resonates. Problem is, there were absolutely no ties (direct story or even thematic) to the main narrative.
Then there's the coda:
I get that it serves as a bookend for Barbara, but I feel like it totally undercuts the ending. I know TKJ had actual impact on DC canon (with Barbara becoming Oracle) but I've always viewed it as more of an elseworlds story/the last Batman-Joker story.
I remember TKJ feeling like a punch in the gut. Maybe it's just that I'm so familiar with the story now, but this just fell so flat for me....
That said, Conroy & Hamill forever! So glad they are both returning for Justice League Action!
