  1. I've often thought one of these days I'm going to have filled my head with so much useless trivia that I'm going to forget how to walk. And then we'll know that too much useless knowledge is indeed a very bad thing.

  2. I'm ok with it. I read, a lot. Anything I can get my hands on pretty much. So I'm not the brightest crayon in the box, but I'm pretty well read, which means I can fake my way through just about anything you through at me.

Unless it's 100 percent math related, and then I'll need to research it a little more first. Math and I have never totally gotten along :(

  3. Welp. Every single one of you is crazy for not mentioning Massive Attack, or anything by Tricky.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3mn7EC-skg&ob=av2e <---- learn the lyrics. Whisper in friends ear while song is playing. /swoon.

    Also:

    <--- Telefon Tel Aviv

    <---- Cex

<---- there are probably 4 or 5 Apparat tracks I wanted to use, but I chose this one.

Also good, any mix by Richie Hawtin OR PLastikman. I esp love Decks Exf and a 909, but his album with "Tunnel" on is esp good too. <3

  4. When I lived in Scotland, I asked about the egg thing as well. FYI - mayo and all other egg type things over taste unbelievably better than here. (I wasn't vegan yet in Scotland, just veg). I hate the taste of mayo here, but other there it was delicious. Salad dressings even tasted different. But yeah, the eggs taste much, much fresher over there compared to the ones here.

Also, in the winter, it was so cold we used the outside as a fridge (since the fridges over there are really tiny).

  5. Oh!! Almost forgot...I wanted to bring up a couple points tied to this episode!

Anyone else think the note left and then found by Ayra is a ploy by LIttle Finger? Big red flags went up for me when I saw it left behind. Baelish doesn't do anything that careless unless he totally intends to.

Tonks (she will always be Tonks to me) is now my second fave character of the show.

And seriously...I'm in love with THE MAN. THE MAN owes you three lives..../swoons.

  6. The Hunger Games has made The Giver trilogy highly lucrative as a film property. I hope all my favorite fucked up dystopian kids books get adapted now.

The Giver was a trilogy?! Is, I mean. I loved the first book when it was required reading in grade school.

Also, since we're talking about trilogies, anyone else starting to get a little excited about Ender's Game? I KNOW the author is a giant homophobe POS. Still, the book is absolutely in my top 5 favorite books of all time. Probably top 3 honestly.

  7. (just 5 posts ago)

That made me GASP. Gotta hand it to the ginger though...he kept his cool a lot better than I would have (gingers arent exactly known for keeping a level head and personality when super angry).

  8. We should put you in a zoo. So people can come from all over and see the only person on the face of the planet who doesn't appreciate Moore's contribution to the art that is literature :(

I keeed. Kind of. Seriously though, on a scale of 1 to 10, how blind are you? :P

  9. I reallllly want to see Cabin in the Woods. I'm a big JW fan; I've heard a lot of mixed reviews about it though. I've decided to just go in there without any preconceived ideas about what to expect, and hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised!

Also, I watched The Vow the other night with my roomie. The movie itself was kinda sweet, but the soundtrack was just fantastic. I actually ended up going out an buying it. I also laughed WAY harder than I should have when the closing song was "Pictures of You" by The Cure. She has amnesia...she's trying to remember her husband...cue sentimental Cure song about photos and remembering old loves. It was so cliche, and I just couldn't help myself.

  10.

As for Moore, let me put this in simple words in large print, you can make it my member title if you like.

I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY THAT ALAN MOORE WRITES

    .

It's like...you took a knife, and then stabbed me in a kidney with it. And now, our love can never be. :(
