  1. Well i think Spiffy should know that it took my computer 20-35 billion tries just to get into the Drunken Dieties Site. Let's not forget to mention the fact that when my computer opens to many windows(about 4-5) it has this nice way of pausing one me. Not even Control-atl-delete works on this stupid dickhead of a computer. :( so i think spiffy can cut me some slack.
  2. I think Halo's the only great game for X-box
  3. A bit late in posting considering how everyone else posted 6-7 months ago. Sephiroth's appearance is awsome, unfortunately if no one's ever heard it, Justin Timberlake from Insinc played the voice of Sephiroth. Also if no one's ever heard it, the voices were amazing and the camera was annoying.
  4. There was one game that no one mentioned that came to my mind. That was FFIX. In fact a lot of the story and reason why it was good seemed to come from it's cut-scenes. To mention a few- the main characters being chased by a dark mage, the summoning of Bahumut and Odin, and the fight between Alexander and Bahumut.
  5. When I dropped by, Chi-chan had one of her neighbors to play the game. The game simply had the main character walk around talking to people. and you can' miss one person or else the shopkeeper tells you to go back and do it again. No offense, but for the first few seconds I played it, I felt like barfing. Of course the old school gaming of donkey kong and balloon fight was pretty fun. And that rossetti creature's pretty serious when he want's you to repeat something. If there's an exclamation mark or comma YOU have to repeat it. I think Chi-chan should play more Kingdom Hearts, I really thought that was a good game. oh well
  6. I only played the game for a little while, and it was kind of hard to switch weapons and target when you're using that controller. The targetting also slows you down a little as well. But then again, I never really played any games for gamecube. I guess if you can get used to the controls and the targetting system I'm sure it would be a decent game. I remember playing the old SNES Super Metroid and it was pretty cool
  7. I played goldeneye for a little bit and I thought the game was ok at best, and sometimes it took to long for someone to kill anyone, quake definitely seemed like a blast although at times became cheap. I haven't played Half-Life and Unreal, and Wolfenstien and Doom were very much the same as being ok. Medal of Honor was ok for being a WWII creation. I know most people love the old school games but I think the king of FPS should be handed down to Halo. EVERY weapon is equally balanced, with weaknesses and strengths, their's vehicle's to enhance the gameplay, and although the speed of characters are slowed down, it's all meant to give all player an eqaul chance to actually hit someone. By the way, when Kasuika( that's right right?) came by, he played on my team (i'm tim's brother) against tim and adil. I dunno if it was tim or adil but damn this was funny when it happened. One of you guys came down a hallway where I threw a grenade at their feet. and waited near the corner. The blast threw the guy straight out the hallway over a ledge. I came up from behind shot/pistol whipped him from behind. Props for Kasuika for covering my back in the capture the flag game. ;)
  8. Although the ending may not seem so diaappointing to you, I had a diffrent reaction. After spending hours and hours of sleepness nights and many days where I had to keep my SNES on just to keep my game alive, I thought there HAD to be some type of amazing ending. Of couse when I saw the actual ending....well...let's just say most people would have to buy a new controller, console, T.V., and VCR.
  9. Well one thing's for sure, I'm not too fond of a FFXI becoming Massive mulptiplayer RPG. I mean I'm sure it might be great expanding the gameplay and all, but I think this game will definitely ruin many people's lives. (As if MMRPG's don't already do that in Japan and sometimes here in America)
  10. Well, I think that the new X-man movie was amazing as well. The movie was definitely ten times better then the first. Some amazing things that made the movie stand out was Nightcrawlers attack and Magneto's escape. There were a few minor details that made the plot a little convolted. Lady Deathstrike wasn't really given any character and William Stryker took too much of a role in a lot of the characters past. I'm also pretty darn sure that Lady deathstrike didn't have healing abilities which changes a lot when it comes to indurance. William Stryker also killed his son when he was born in the comics. But all in all I guess the plots would have to fuse in order to put so many characters in one and to make a good story. So even with these minor annoyances the movie was still quite good.
  11. I don't know much about the comics. BUt I did read the recent New X-man Volume 1, and I have to say Cassandra Nova was one smart son of a bitch.
  12. Now that my computer is finally able to process this site, I think I can come up with some sucky endings. Two games fit this category all to well. The first game would have to be Jurrasic Park for SNES. Your forced to go through an exahausting 15-20 hour trip without saving or given a password. Then when you finally beat the game you prsumedly fly away in a helicopter. It just shows the island fly float away in the distance. Finally you get the old congratulations on beating the game. The other game would have to be ONE for PSX. You go through the game being chased by some guys and at the end you find out that the character's pissed and he wants revenge. WOW that's great. Although I haven't seen it for myself I've heard that Atari was the best system for having dumb endings. I heard if you get EXTREMELY HIGH scores the game just RESETS. No game over's, no congat's, no texts. Just RESETS.
  13. bat's got some nice boots
  14. I cant think! There's nothing really on my mind right now, except Halo.
