  1. *scans the Blargh thread quietly, and sees MM* SPLOOSH! *runs away laughing*
  2. Agreed. Now Batman vs Superman... (or is that arguement taboo?) The winner would be Batman, by the way.
  3. It was brought over here. I saw a trailer for it in a theater (The Alamo, but still...), and I watched it on a dvd I rented from a video rental chain. Fuckers.
  4. Seen Sympathy for the Devil Mr Vengeance, and bits of Sympathy Ms Vengeance (I was pretty damn tired... movie marathon). Both seemed pretty good, but related to Old Boy?? Aside from them being about vengeance, the sympathy movies and Old Boy didn't seem connected in any way. Rachel, any input from CJ on this? I'm pretty sure he's seen all three all the way through.
  5. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Amazing Spider-man # 535... or did you mean the bit about the Green Goblin?
  6. That's the way it's meant to be played. Fuck that mission card bullshit. Oh, and just to make it official... I hereby claim this thread in the name of Risk. *plants a flag* Oh crap! I forgot to draw a card and place my new infantry.
  7. The event I've been waiting for may have just happened: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Spiderman looks to have switched sides. It didn't even take him finding out about the Green Goblin.
  8. He tried Jax. He tried. Wasn't sure if I should post it in the Fantastic Forum or not...*shrugs*
  9. Me, though not for Nick Cage. *shrugs* One of the few movies on that list I've seen. If you add more options, my answer may change (it is a rather limited list). Risk is one of the greatest games out there. Some other good games: Apples to Apples, Scrabble, and Monopoly (with some added rules).
  10. We talking the food, or the scantily clad women? I'll assume that Risk was in reference to the game of world domination.
  11. Aww, no road trip? Understandable, though. 80 books? That sounds too good to be true... don't they usually cost $ 10-20? Ack! Sorry! Booze... the plane ride'll complicate my transportation of booze... something tells me they (airport security) aren't too keen on that these days... and I think mailing booze is illegal, too. We must figure something out. So that's plane tickets, $ 100 for the con (not including the entry fee, I assume), What about money for room and board type expenses?
  12. Not arguing whether the girl was hot. I was just surprised to see it here. Then again, I'm not entirely sure where else it'd go...
  13. Cosplay in this thread? I kinda would've expected that elsewhere...
  14. If ya'll'd still like me to accompany, let me know (and let me know how much money is a good idea to save up for this). I can bring booze, as well (maybe some Loki).
  15. They were riding around in a hearse. Nice.
  16. Shame there's not the possibility of watching it online...
  17. Ask, and ye shall receive. http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0813715/ If you missed the premiere last night there's a scheduled rebroadcast tonight at 8/7c, a download on the NBC weblink above, and probably torrents. I haven't watched it yet (taped it), what did yall think about it?
  18. Holy fucking shit, Keith Olbermann tore into George W Bush tonight. There. Right thread this time.
  19. Holy fucking shit, Keith Olbermann tore into George W Bush tonight. EDIT: Oops, wrong thread.
  20. Yeah, "holey bartender" jokes aside, you're probably right.
  21. Jason Lee? He's the lead in a tv series going on right now: My Name is Earl. Funny show about a guy who hears about karma after being hit by a car and decides to make up for all the bad things he's ever done (a lot) before it kills him.
  22. Even comic book characters that ae based on mythological beings that were considered gods?
