  1. This place flourishes when im gone, i love that. I just...i hope people arent quick to right off friends of opposing political views....there's too much being lost, besides another's perspective. Its...its simply missing the point, something we do too much here in America. Tomorrow, the cutler ridge studio/efficiency search begins proper-like...after some sleep. Wish me luck, ill prolly get in a whole hour before poker time.
  2. ...who complains about half naked hot fallen angles? Vote tomrrow, people, or P-diddy may not kill you, but....remember, if you dont chose, you just get hitler riding in his six-fo, pimpin' ho's and slammin cadillac doh's. And nobody wants that, except Pat Buchanan.
  3. i think the ER lost that guys' abdomen catscan, which is a bitch, sicne he's gonna have to drink all that barium again if they dont find the scan, or its not in the ssytem. And that shit sucks, its like lead in your stomach, and comes out explosively too. :ill: ps as an avid breast-man, Eeyore: where the hell are you finding these pics? # 2 is too photoshopped, #1...there's an asian porn star named minka who went to the same plastic surgeon, no lie
  4. That thread is fun, but you shouldnt get me all excited with 2 replies, non-topic related. Look, ive read all of Sin City, even the side specials (ok, didnt finish the latest one, the one in color yet), and its good stuff, no dobut, especially given the lack of noir in comics. Youve got that, and uh, Stray Bullets i think. But where Sin City is a series of gritty tales, connected only by themes (the city, crooked cops, prostitutes are saints, etc), 100 Bullets takes some of this stuff and throws it into a modern-day society, then ties all their tales together with a plot that, again, reaches into America's founding fathers...i wasnt sold on the first trade, honestly, but the further in ive read, the more ive fell for this great series. Cant wait to see how it goes down. Until i get the trades, or put the scans to a disc, i know most people (outside of Junker) wont really read this one, but mark my words: if this one gets a movie deal like theyre takling, and it goes down half as good as Sin City's flick is looking to, you'll be all over this one.
  5. Daredevil: Director's cut review (with summary of deleted scenes) $18 at Amazon...ill have to see it first, had i bought the first one (with teh cool extras with comic artists), i prolly woudlnt consider it tho.
  6. This crime fiction from Vertigo, by Azzarello (Hellblazer, Hulk) and Risso, is winning Eisners left & right, and i wish it was getting even more attention... What starts off as a series of gritty, well-written crime stories quickly turns into a massive conspiracy, whose plot reaches back to the origins of America itself. Already 50 issues in, this one's gone beyond great noir & charaterization, to showing a scope unseen in books this enjoyable. This site has an excellent plot summary (tho spoiler-ridden, so read with care) to learn more/catch up on the series, which i cant encourage enough, especially for fans of Sin City, Gotham Central, or quality Vertigo titles in general. To lift the premise from them:
  7. *cough* Richie bush ps foreign policy '00-04
  8. Yup, soon your average american will stop caring about what goes on around them, and the People magazine crowd will get their time in the sun again. i cant wait to hear about all the things that dont matter. Well, time's not up yet, so here's some last minute political parody! Gotta get it out there before the joke's over, right? The Onion: "Bush addresses 8.2 million unemployed: 'Get a job' " my personal favorite image: and my favorite quip:
  9. I dont want to know your name; i just want, bang bang bang and finally, remixing the classic (which i could find hte original)... RING RING RING RING....Bananaphone!
  10. Man, which one was the one where strongbad was typing, and homestar wunnah was trying to talk to him about reality TV and such? It was an office one....i remember hurting my sides laughg at that one. Im amazed you can see this shit for free; its funnier than most cartoons ive seen. I'm glad theyre making a killing on merchandise, they deserve it.

  12. i dont know if that's true of Norman Osborn, but i do know he boned Gwen Stacy, and that's all kinds of nasty.

  16. more politics-lite: Carving your halloween pumpkin in the shape of Bush or Kerry
  17. This last one, "extra plug" i think....genius. Its unplugged style works even better in da club. "I really got...i really gotta pee pee. I really got...i really gotta pee pee." "...that is a disgusting song. if youre not reading this site, the interent is wasted on you. man, we need a strongbad emoticon.
  18. im good, thanks tho man did you know that Microsoft allegedly uses prisoners in the state of washington to package their software? There's some deep, deep irony in that, but i need another drink to really find it.
  19. kara - same shit! kinda benny - damn man, congrats! looks like you could be on your path man, if you need any help, ive studied a wee bit of law, and ill do what i can to help out....congrats again, youre on a helluva start! right, so uh...innapropriate quote time!
  20. Well, it looked like it, but i think Millar meant past this next voulme, he'd let someone else take the helm. According to the Marvel solicits, were still lookin at Millar & Hitch this time, so fear not! for - Spider-Man India # 3 Now, this one, i dont know what to make of this; some say Marvel was just milking a tragedy with Call of Duty, which got silly by the end, but i dig war stories, i just dont see Marvel doing anything but hero-worship with it...they havent had balls since 411. still, Esad Ribic covers, off to a good start.
